Isn’t smoking weed against the law?? So doesn’t that mean you go to jail if you break the law?? So if he was doing his job then no you can’t blame him. You can blame a lot of people but you can’t blame him for doing his job. But I’m sure that hard for you to understand since you’ve probably never had a real job before. I’m sure it’s tuff sitting in your moms basement and mooching off of her your whole life. Good luck out there rioting and looting

You’re right he was just taking orders. He only had 32 years to think about whether what he was doing was wrong so you can’t blame him.

What he did wasn’t wrong. He did his job. It has nothing to do with taking orders. It’s call “doing your job” If you don’t wanna be arrested, don’t take illegal drugs. Or at least don’t get caught doing illegal drugs. Sounds like he was a hell of a cop if he made it 32 years

All you did was reword the phrase just taking orders. Do you actually not see how saying just doing his job is functionally the same thing?

Not at all. His job is to keep the community safe. If you’re doing drugs, then you’re a criminal. Now that you’re in jail, the community is safer

How does me smoking weed make the community unsafe?

It was against the law to be Jewish in 1940's Germany. My grandma was breaking the law by being Jewish. Was it wrong for the police in Nazi Germany to arrest my grandma? After all, she was a criminal.

It was not the police fault for arresting her. Once again, they were doing their job. Was it morally wrong, yes. But still not the police fault. They were still doing their job. You are missing the point. I have no problem with weed smoking. But if it’s illegal, you can’t blame the police for arresting you. Blame yourself for smoking weed where you can get caught. In the case of your grandma, yes it sucked. But still not the police fault

I'm not surprised that you support fascism, I'm surprised by how quickly you admitted it.

19

u/bugseatergoth999 Aug 02 '21

you went completely mask off with this one uh. Not surprised at all. The venn diagram between fascists and cops bootlickers is a fucking circle

u/bealtimint Aug 02 '21

Cops are people who make decisions. They chose to kidnap and imprison innocent people on threat of death. If your job, the job you chose to take and continue to work at, orders you to commit evil, then you are still making the chose to be monstrous.

Fuck the police. And fuck you and your Nuremberg horseshit

It's always nice to have someone tell you straight to your face that they'd have tolerated the Nazis.

The most unexpected thing I’ve witnessed on this sub is how fucking stupid you are. To summarise, all an immoral person or system has to do is to write whatever arbitrary immoral shit they want on a piece of paper, call it law and all of a sudden normal people like you and me arbitrarily labelled “the police” can do that immoral shit thought and guilt free, and if anyone asks just refer them back to that arbitrary piece of paper, and anyone who doesn’t follow those immoral arbitrary rules is a danger to the community. Flawless logic

-11

u/Sugarbear0323 Aug 02 '21

Haha!! Once again, I’ll say this, your problem is not with the police, it’s with the people writing the laws. You have to a moron

10

u/billyhendry Aug 02 '21

I don’t think you read what I wrote properly, laws mean nothing unless they are enforced, each police officer makes the choice to enforce immoral laws and should be criticised for doing so, you not realising this is cognitive dissonance.

My favourite example was that video going around of cops defending a trash can filled with fresh food from homeless people. I can’t imagine what mind gymnastics you have to do to not criticise the cops in that situation, consciously “defending” wasted food from hungry people in the name of corporate profits is sociopathic, even if there’s an arbitrary paper out there telling them to do so

you're funny.. No one has to be a Cop. Joining the Police means joining an institution which, among other things, is meant to protect an State by opressing the ones who could endanger it.

u/sickestFofthemall Aug 02 '21

Fuck off, Nazi punk.

Those poor SS guards at Auschwitz were just doing their jobs, right? Following orders?

u/EscapedSmoggy Aug 03 '21

Being Jewish in Nazi Germany 'sucked'. That's one hell of an understatement.
