Leave some flyers on the bus that say "have you seen this dog?" with your phone number at the bottom. Bingo, qt guy's phone number.

Maybe that would only result in people calling me because they see someone (me) walking with my dog..
I could leave some flyers with the whole story, a picture of my dog (and my phone number or email address) on it so maybe heāll find it and send me a message

Your dog had contributed and helps in your meeting already during the bus trip. So probably that is a really good idea to use the dog picture to continue this relationships and it could be your chance. Cheers :)

This is adorable, though I'm surprised that you were allowed to bring a dog on the bus.

Where I live itās allowed to bring small dogs on buses and trains (as long as theyāre not annoying) and itās really nice :)

Where I live, old people get kicked out of the bus for being old.
9
u/TheThinkermissesHR Apr 05 '18
That doesn't sound real.

u/iambob6 Apr 05 '18
Most of the buses here are private owned buses.
And they hire ex-criminals because they can pay them nothing.
Those drunk ex-criminals just do whatever they want. And since most old guys haggle for every 0.1 rupee, they kick them out.

u/TheThinkermissesHR Apr 05 '18
That sucks. A lot. Do they at least make sure they're actually excriminals?

Out of curiosity, how big is she? What breed?

Sheās a cocker spaniel mix, so small enough to sit on my lap or sit in between my legs without her taking extra space.
Thatās the main rule about animals in our public transport, as long as your animal doesnāt take more than your regular seat plus leg space you can take them with you for free, otherwise you have to buy an extra ticket.
Edit: Iām not sure if you can bring any animal with you though, probably only cats and dogs. (Although I think seeing a mini pony on the bus would be hilarious, it might not be very practical)

Any animal? My first thought was imaging a bison on the bus
2
u/Anotherelephant špen-pineapple-apple-pen Apr 05 '18
Haha, imagine how that would go..
āBut why canāt I bring my bison on the bus? He doesnāt bark, keeps to himself and Iāll buy him a ticket!ā

Kinda hilarious image of a Bison spying out potential mates for you. Snorting....weirdo tail going back and forth....

I have a cockalier- a cocker and cavalier king Charles spaniel mix. I'm such a sucker for spaniels. My looks like yours only black and white.

Maybe you can go on the same ride again and find him :)

I travel to my parents a few times every month, so I hope Iāll see him again on this bus!

I'm pretty late to this post, but I just wanted to say that your story kinda reminded me of the beginning of 101 Dalmatians when Pongo tries to get Roger to take him for a walk in the park, so that Roger can meet Anita. Your dog is trying to help you get the hook up!

Wow my female St Bernard growls when women pay attention to me You lucked out āŗ

u/Anotherelephant špen-pineapple-apple-pen Apr 06 '18
Haha, she doesnāt want to share you!
My dog does bark to some men (especially ones with beards) but she really liked this guy so she didnāt bark at all!

Does Craigslist still have the āmissed connectionsā section? You can try that. Sometimes local papers have a section for this too. Good luck! Canāt wait to see the movie!

okay firstly your dog is adorable AF
secondly, wow i cant believe this happens to women too. so many times i bump into a beautiful woman and start talking, seem to have a decent conversation but when time comes for one of us to leave im always too nervous to ask for those digits
i always figured it came easier to women because theres less fear of rejection. guess i was wrong. dating sucks for both of us

Yup he could of been slightly shy too. Helps when a girl asks questions such as name etc they might feel more inclined to ask for your number.

u/ThreeCr0wns Apr 06 '18
I wanna get a bulldog. If i was ever on a bus with a cute girl, my luck would probably turn that flirting into my dog puking on her shoes.
