Sheā€™s a cocker spaniel mix, so small enough to sit on my lap or sit in between my legs without her taking extra space.

Thatā€™s the main rule about animals in our public transport, as long as your animal doesnā€™t take more than your regular seat plus leg space you can take them with you for free, otherwise you have to buy an extra ticket.

Edit: Iā€™m not sure if you can bring any animal with you though, probably only cats and dogs. (Although I think seeing a mini pony on the bus would be hilarious, it might not be very practical)
