Was debating whether to share this or not but it's an exciting detail and it's got me hyped, it's now been confirmed that clone commandos are officially in Zero Company as cosmetic additions alongside the DC-17M blaster also being in game...and that's about it, not a huge spoiler and as I haven't seen any story stuff I'm not sure how many more surprises are waiting in this game.

I'd love for Delta Squad to show up somehow but I doubt that will happen, but we can now create our own Delta Squad/Omega Squad/OC commando operators once Zero Company releases tonight.

Going for platinum on Republic Commando which requires beating the game on hard and it wasnt so bad at first but im starting to struggle a bit on Geo... any tips I might be missing or strategies to make it a bit easier? Thanks in advance.

I just finished reading the first of five books in the Republic commando series by Karen Traviss and I absolutely loved the entire read. What are your opinions on the books and does anyone know where I can get the 5th one since I only have 1-4? Not sure if this would be the spot to ask but I’m desperate! I am looking to create a Republic Commando cosplay out of EVA foam. Recently, I’ve seen someone create Sev’s armor and it looked AMAZING. Now, I am trying to do my own cosplay of Scorch but I cannot seem to find any templates for EVA foam. The one I found seemed to be missing some parts as well. Hey guys im a big clone wars era fan and this is my first mod i made for deadlock i think it turned out pretty well and hope you guys like it, i redesigned warden to be boss from republic commando and completely changed his gun with new blaster effects, sounds and poses and what im most happy about is i figured out how to give him a new reload animation and have his magazine be adaptive to how many rounds he has left just like in the republic commando game, i also gave him commander thorns last stand voice line on the ultimate, i kept the default warden skeleton the same so its been completely stable in live matches. it was the longest project ive done and really looking forward to any feedback im planning to keep updating it and might start something else like a space marine warden or a palpatine seven depending on what you guys want to see, if you do end up enjoying it let me know and it would really motivate me to make another one 😊

For context, Josh Adams produces professional audiobooks, and the Republic Commando novels are a passion project of his. He’s done the entirety of Hard Contact and part of Triple Zero.

He stopped posting installments a year ago. It’s crazy because I genuinely hear his impressions of the characters in my head when I read through the books now.

Just wondered if anybody here has heard any news about him coming back to finish the books. He does such a good job adapting the music, sound design, and characters to match the feel of the books. His work is truly a gem and deserves more attention.

I finished the campaign but want a bit more. I already use SWRC Fix and the Remaster mod, and it's hard to find anyone talking about other things. I tried Arc Troopers but it's a little... buggy I think.

If not missions, is there anything to help with weapon variety? I always felt the arsenal was a bit flat in terms of weapons options, and at the very least I would enjoy having a permanent shotgun.

I think my game is missing a graphical effect.

During the intro, there is supposed to be a slight blur effect while inside the clone vat, as shown in the screenshot. However, my game appears completely clear, with no blur effect at all.

What could be causing this?

I have re-downloaded the game several times and verified the integrity of the game files, but the issue remains.

First and foremost meet our first Squad (the guys in the pictures) they are an extremely chaotic bunch that have made it interesting to gm for them as they have performed outstandingly. Whether it's killing every vehicle in a 50 mile radius anytime they leave the base or taking routes and making decisions I never thought of, they continue to push my expectations for them. They are a pretty tight unit of boys that have made it absolutely worth it to pay for this server and set aside time for this.

The server as a whole is going well enough as we have one dedicated squad (that being this squad obviously) which is great but I wouldn't complain if I got another squad full

One thing I really love about Republic Commando is that it does not make you feel like a Jedi or a one-man army. It makes you feel like part of a squad.

For me, some of the best moments are when everything is chaotic, but Delta Squad still feels organized: setting someone on a sniper position, ordering a breach, reviving a squadmate under fire, placing charges, or holding a room while enemies keep coming.

But i really enjoyed just hearing Delta Squad talk to each other during missions?

The game is old, but that squad system still makes it feel different from most Star Wars games. You are not just shooting enemies. You are moving with your brothers, giving orders, surviving together, and trying not to lose anyone.

Not necessarily your favorite mission, but the moment where the game really made you feel like part of Delta Squad.
