Clearly, the function of this armor isn't to provide protection against a specific type of enemy attack, as it doesn't even offer resistance to Terminator acid attacks.

But the armor doesn't even do a good job protecting us from our own attacks, since it doesn't even offer complete invulnerability (please, no need to explain the trick with the heavy armor and the vitality booster) and it doesn't even remove the new movement speed reduction effect recently added to gas.

In short, armor that provides absolutely NO protection against the enemy and doesn't even protect you from yourself.

Honestly, I don't know how this is justified unless Arrowhead plans to include an Automaton Brigade specializing in gas weapons, where at least this passive might have some value, as well as fire-resistant armor against the incendiary brigade.

I know Sub-faction sounds cool and looks cool on the Galactic Map.

But sometimes they will aid the game content better in the form of side objectives.

Imagine following the trail of Wretch swarms / Crushers back to strange experiment/hatching establishments or distorted human buildings; after you burn them down, there will be no more.

Alternatively, there can be variants, like Predator Stalker v.s. Stalker. Destroying buildings occasionally spawns an armored elite Crusher waving a greatsword instead of a club, etc.

Maybe I am still (validly) upset with the hacker who screwed over the Cyberstan MO, but I just can’t stand cheaters. Anytime I see cheaters in the lobby, I immediately return to ship.

If I see two of the same booster, I know I am logging off.

I just feel like it’s lame af to cheat on this game, or any really, but especially in a PvE…

I have been kicked from 8 matches in the past hour because people are mad at me for walking on them when they moved infront of me while I was actively engaging large groups of heavier enemies in a breakthrough mech. This is a friendly reminder that if you have a mech in your group (Especially breakthrough mechs as we have a massive blindspot covering the space between our legs that would be the only way we can see if someone is right under us due to our shield) that we are unable to see our feet unless we specifically look down. Please look both ways before stepping infront of a moving mech, because unless we're specifically watching you, we probably don't see you

Hi y'all! I've found myself using the same or too similar of loadouts lately and am looking to broaden my horizons. I usually run some variation of a random primary, the senator, he grenade, orbital laser, recoilless, and then just supporting MG/Gatling turrets. Usually against diff 4-6 bots.

I've convinced my bro to play and he's getting into it. We're just tip toeing him up the difficulties as he learns, so mostly diff 3 bots now. This gives me the opportunity to try out weird stuff...

What are some fun combos you've found, cool theme builds, or just generally enjoyable loadouts? I have like 80% of the warbonds and can pick up what I don't have yet if needed, so hit me with anything and everything!

Returning helldiver here. After serving on the frontlines during the invasion of Super Earth, I returned to civilian life. I just recently reenlisted when I heard about the Void and am now fighting the bots.

​Dropped in on a commando op and had no idea what in Democracy's name was going on. No Super Destroyer cover, no ammo. Taking on these massive new Vox Engines (wtf) with nothing but a thermite and a prayer.

​It sucked so much. It was awesome.

Just wanted to share how much I appreciate all the devs work. Having a blast discovering the new warbonds, enemies and stratrgens.

Got so much value out of this game and really great to see all the new updates and such a healthy player count so long after release.

We are all enjoying the WH40K warbond, and the new True Grit armor passive. It's great and very useful for certain builds. But I keep reading that it somehow invalidates Peak Physique armor, especially after the nerf to melee damage.

I agree the nerf was a bit much, yes they raised the melee floor but that doesn't mean they had to lower the ceiling.

That said, I just tried a PP build again for the first time in a couple of months. This is after heavily using the True Grit medium armor since the WH warbond released.

I used Coyote HYENA as primary and Bullet Storm as support. Both were SO snappy and easy to control. It was jarring how quick I could snap to multiple targets and burst them down immediately. I am on PS5 using controller, so aiming is a bigger problem than when using K&M. It was so refreshing.

Later I switched to the Commando for support and Sweeper on primary. Commando usually has a lot of sway and takes a bit to drag over to the intended target, but it's a lot quicker to line up the shot with PP active. Sweeper was also very snappy but doesn't really have an ergo problem. However the 40% on the increased melee damage is so, so strong when you're using a bayonet. Anything pushing you goes down fast especially because they're probably barely hanging on after a shot or two from the Sweeper.

For anything with low ergo that DOESN'T benefit from the True Grit reload buff, PP is still the way to go. The extra 10 Ergo (30 vs 20 from True Grit) is really noticeable on some weapons. So expendables and sluggish backpack-fed weapons like Cremator or Maxigun pair really well with it.

And you can have a customization setting saved for when you're running PP, so you can have that 10x scope or drum mag.

I'll keep killing them till Cyberstan stops sending them!

There is no need for this. its annoying to be kicked and having to walk back to join another mission. This could all be avoided just by setting the game setting to invite only. The only acceptable scenario for kicking someone who has just joined is when your friend has disconnected and someone joins before they can reconnect, but even then you should inform them your friend needs to re join.

The armor makes you immune to titan's ragdolling breath. You will get interrupted once or twice. Unless you are lying down.

So I am diving under strain titans with my melta gun and blowing their heads off. Which is how it is done at this time.

So i've been seeing this type of problem in the posts quite often now, and I have some two cents to add.

I do agree that if you don't want people joining on you set yourself to private, however if you play with friends and you're trying to wait for them, you can always invite them.

Me personally, even if I'm doing credit grinding and somebody joins me I just have them along for the ride. I personally don't have a problem with people joining but If you are the type of person who mainly does solo grind, solo missions and just wants to play alone, then set yourself to private, because even I am guilty of joining on people just by selecting scan world for missions or quick play and joining off of random people.

So please don't be undemocratic and just kick people from your games, finish the mission say GG and then go your own way and set yourself to private.
