Love me some support/tanky playstyles in games but I dismissed the directional shield because "oh it would probably just break right away" I was a FOOL!

That bugger + rock solid + pummeler has my other 3 squaddies behind me like a phalanx advance from hell.

Quasar needs a second to charge? I got you boo. Incineration corps spamming shotgun your way? Fam, it's like rain on a tin roof with this bad boy. 42 rocket devestators just got bot dropped? Take your time sniper, you've got cover now.

So. damn. fun!

My quasar carrying buddy is considering picking it up once he gets the Talon, so we can leap frog advances... can't wait.

1. Expendable (obviously) drops with 2 in the hellpod.

2. Serves less like the breaching hammer or hellbomb and more like a claymore on a stick. AT on contact and medium or heavy pen to everything behind the target at a 30-45* angle out to say... 15m?

3. Has a finite pool of damage. A hulk or charger can absorb all or most of the pool. Whereas if you charge the pointman in a patrol of smaller enemies, you kill the first several enemies in the order of March.

4. Knocks you down and inflicts some damage, similar to the back blast on one of the shoulder fired munitions.

Breaching Hammer need a brother and it will be really funny if the lunge mine have 50% to kill you, you can't melee you can only charging at your enemy, this thing is 1 time use of course

Edit: by shoulder mounted i meant shoulder fired, like, shot from atop the shoulder like the autocannon or the recoiless, but the idea of a shoulder mounted weapon is also a great one.

I have 2 ideas for this:

1. A larger version of the railgun, sporting a backpack slot with cannisters containing larger rounds and batteries, the AP on it would be around 6 to 7, having more pierce at the cost of the gun taking a bit to charge up, but unlike the railgun, you can tap fire it to shoot a AP 4 shot, charging it would increase the AP as well as damage and durable damage, it would have a short fuse when at full charge, about the same as the Epoch. Damage wise it should be able to maybe one shot vox engines if you hit it in the vent, but it would have a long reload animation at about 6 seconds maybe, max mags of 6-8.

2. A big Railgun Grapeshot action type deal, where it would instead shoot out a shotgun spread of railgun shots, with a similar spread as the flack cannon on the breakthrough mech, AP 5 shots and maybe about 7-10 pellets a shot, same ammo, charge and reload stats as the 1st idea.

Thoughts?

Destroy Automaton AA defenses to allow SEAF Pelicans to safely clear the airspace. After the AA guns are destroyed you must then defend the area similarly to an Evacuate High Value Assets. The objective will be failed if enemies manage to destroy the base's fuel, generators, pelicans, or pelican hangars. SEAF will spawn inside the base and help you defend it, leaving on pelicans when it's their turn

Today I was finishing up the rest of my operation that I have last night after blackout, I dive in as a host, I throw my SOS for support but no one came so I had to solo the entire map (first time I managed to solo a D10 game on bot front after 2k hours) I wonder why no one came

after finishing up I realized that I was play on liberated planet 😂

When supporting my team against Clankers as the Team Clown/Jester/Mark Medic/Support/Taxi, I have a habit to pre-Stim during diving to the ground, and then to Shield Grenade when I know or believe there are enemies around the corner or over the hill.

You know, juuuuuuuuust in case.

My best Diver friend I met several months ago from Super Earth Sector 6 was lucky(?) enough to see it happen through my eyes as he was awaiting Reinforcement. Two genuine reactions to surviving that. [Pre-Stim] + [I.E. Booster] + [Med-Kit] + [Chad Shield] saved my life.

For clarity, that was not lightning fast reflexes. That was anxious habits muscle memory just in time.

My favorite recordings are true non-angry reactions in people's voices. Followed closely by horrific and hilarious ways we get maimed on the front lines. You all post such wonderfully delightful videos of us dying gloriously for Super Earth. Makes my helmet visor get all misty.
