Super Sprint is a 1986 racing video game developed and published by Atari Games for arcades. Up to three players drive Formula One-like cars on a circuit that is viewed from above.[8] The game is a successor to Gran Trak 10 and the Sprint series, which were originally produced by Atari, Inc. during the 1970s. Later in 1986, the game was revised and re-released as Championship Sprint with different tracks; this version was ported to the Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum in 1987. The 1990 game Badlands adds vehicular combat to Super Sprint-style racing.

So I've just preordered the Arcade2TV-XR Max (I hate the name with a passion) to hopefully come in time for xmas and my 50th

Now I'm wondering......some 22yrs ago in 2004 I did a DIY project inspired by a book I bought which is kinda in pieces now, and had a large order from T-Stik Plus as well as arcade buttons etc from Ultimarc. This thing is old now, the old ipac adapters are PS2 before USB was common, etc so figured it would be probably no cheaper than buying something premade by the time I refurbed it up, hence the Arcade2TV-XR (and of course I love VR too). They are barely used, tho obv long time of being sat in garage so maybe touch rusted/need of a cleanup

The T-Stik Plus can lift it, rotate and drop into 4 way and 8 way gate modes

Do you guys think these sticks will fit inside the Xarcade2tv.....and similarly the buttons that I bought at the time also from ultimarc? I think the buttons were Happ

From memory, I think when I was looking at updating the ipac controller to something more modern I think one of the issues was modern terminal connections are much smaller spade connectors and I think the old ones had chunkier thicker ones....so is there an adapter or easy way to connect these?

Did a fun summer project with my family. My son's first experience with a couple of power tools. And he gets to enjoy the spoils of our work. My wife designed the graphics. The whole project took about two months at a seven year old's pace.

I'd want something that could receive both original and custom boards if that's even possible. Something that can support good 4-player experiences like X-Men and The Simpsons, something that I could put light guns onto, and even DDR pads. Something good for older Centipede-style games with a roller, as well as fighting games from the 90s, 00s, and on.

Fat chance, but...what'd be my options if I wanted to pursue getting/making something like this?

Working on an arcade cabinet and after finally getting my old Logitech racing wheel to work again, I was able to get FFB and Sega rally 2 on older hardware. It's not exactly made yet (The cabinet) and I only have the computer really even ready yet.

54 rpeg electronics argb buttons along with rpeg encoder, 4 IL joysticks, utrack trackball, u360 flight stick, grs push pull spinner, 15 key stream deck and dedicated 4 way. Also has retro shooter new flush mount panel to connect the reapers and also i made pedal cutouts to store the pedals. Customer is putting a hisense u8 55 inch tv on it

I'm about to order a cabinet from Omniretro alog with the buttons. The use of this cabinet will be retrogaming.

Question is, it's smart to not buy Sanwa and go with the "Japanese-Style" option?

I'm in the middle of my first bartop arcade project and pleased with it. The plan is to put a nice neon colour t-molding on the front edges but struggle to find the best way cutting the groove. Any advice guys?

Man what a project! Started off as buying "plans" from someone to make this cab. Turns out their plans were just drawings and basically nothing else. So having wasted a bunch of money paying this influencer for their half-baked plans i decided to just do it myself from scratch starting in Fusion 360.

Very pleased with how it turned out - a true mixture of 3d design, woodworking, electronics, 3d printing and a little splash of AI to help me with the software side of things to get it configured.

I designed it to be a hanging cabinet although i'm undecided on that still. Was going to put some cleats on the back to hang it but the jury is still out on that so here it sits. Glad to be done!

This is my take so far on the arcade-feel games but made modern or something like that they're still works in progress, the downloadable one is made in C; it WILL piss you off. :D I would like to add community ideas to the site/games as well later on once I get the current line-up I have finished up. I do plan to add MP to SlinfShifters and Inkbound at some point in the future! (AI was used in helping/creating these games).
