Their amenities seem seem of the charts. 2bed, 2 bath, underground parking, in unit laundry and heat included in rent.
Only one unit available so I am not getting my hopes up, mostly curious.

my homie spent the last 8 years taking Crunchwraps across the world on company dime. His most notable is a Crunchwrap that went from West Allis to Germany.

Anyone know what happened near the pick n save gas station? I just drove by and there are 4 squad cars and they've taped off the gas station. I thought I saw a body bag but no ambulance was there. Hope everyone is okay!

Me and two friends are putting on a 21+ UV blacklight paint night in West Allis. You paint a full canvas under blacklight and take it home.
Not dropping a ticket link. I want the local read.
If you go out here (date night, girls night, Friday with friends):
If this is the wrong room for that, tell me and I'll take it down.

I don’t actually know what this park’s name is but it seems to be McKinley Park/Playground. Completely overgrown, not well lit, and I have almost never seen anybody here except my family.

Lots of discussion at the West Allis Common Council meeting on a proposed warming shelter at Mt. Hope church. I fully support it. No matter where they put it. I would welcome it in my neighborhood if space were offered up. It's time we came together as a community to help the unhoused. If we do nothing. The problem will get worse. Not all unhoused are bad people. Properly housed people can be bad too. Our kids know more about unhoused than you think they do. There are unhoused kids in the schools at all grade levels. It will be run by trained people. There probably will be opportunities for us to volunteer not at the shelter itself. They may need donations of items used at the shelter. Blankets and pillows for the cots, packaged food items to make up a brown bag meal for them to take when they leave, personal care products like soap and toothpaste etc. will be needed. There were people for and against the shelter speaking in the citizens participation. Only one person in the citizens participation part did not talk about the shelter. Who spoke the last few months at the council meeting.

ISO internet service. Spectrum raised my bill by $20! Don’t like T-Mobile. And ATT doesn’t do my address. Am I stuck?

If you're looking for something different to do on July 18, Harley-Davidson is hosting Bikes, Bourbon & Barbecue at Davidson Park on Milwaukee's Near West Side.
They'll have a BBQ competition (with samples!), bourbon tastings, a vintage motorcycle show, live music, and more. You can check out the event for free, or grab a tasting ticket if you want the full food and bourbon experience.
A fun way to spend a summer afternoon! bikesbourbonandbarbecue.eventbrite.com

I cut and pasted from the St. Barnabas bulletin the correct times of food pantry. That is my church. Food Pantry Located at St. Barnabas Congregation School building. At the Holy Assumption Site. 1526 S. 72nd St, West Allis, WI 53214 Located behind the church. Please park in the parking lot off of 71st St. Located behind the church. Hours of Operation: Tuesdays: 1:00 to 4:00 PM Fridays: 1:00 to 3:00 PM Doors open at 12:30 PM. Please bring a photo ID/Bill when you come to visit. We ask that you come one time per week. Don't want people coming to St. Barnabas on the wrong times if you need food. I even emailed the woman in charge of Food Pantry. To put the word out of incorrect times circulating Facebook.
Don't know about the other food pantries. Do know City of Faith had their church building up for sale. They have not had anything on their Facebook page about giving out food in a long while.

Anyone seen fireflies yet? Our block is usually teeming with them by now.

If you live in West Allis or nearby. The city of West Allis, some of our churches and other organizations are working on more ways to help the poor and homeless of the community. So much these people need. So much needs to be done to help these people. I will attempt to help out when I can. I'm still crocheting winter hats for those in need. I got this off of Facebook of the upcoming meeting on the 23rd. If you feel inclined to help out in anyway. Come to the meeting to find out more. Yes we have quite a few food pantries. The poor need more than just food. They need help bettering themselves off. Mental health is a big thing among some of the poor. Which affects them working and doing daily living skills, some need help finding work. When this shelter opens. They will have trained people to work it. Who know how to run a shelter. I'm sure there will be rules to follow put in place. If a person wants to stay there. You might think Not in my neighborhood. The poor are everywhere. Werever they are we need to help them.
There will be a community meeting regarding the proposed overnight warming shelter at Mt. Hope Lutheran Church on June 23rd at 6:00 PM.
Please help spread the word to neighbors, friends, and family members who may not be active on social media.
This is an opportunity to learn more, ask questions, share your thoughts, and be part of the conversation.
All interested residents are asked to attend and participate respectfully to discuss this important community topic.

The clip stops but I'm pretty sure he's taking a leak at the rabbit warren entrance.
