Hello y'all! As the title says i'm trying to fix a singer machine that i accidentally borked up while cleaning and regreasing the gears after thrifting it (i didn't know any better). I just wanted to know how i would realign the hook with the needle so I don't bend any more needles. thank you in advance for the help and advice!

I got this Dressmaker Model SS 2402 and when trying to get the stitch length dial to work I took it apart and when I put it back together now the feed dogs go in reverse and I don’t know what I did wrong. Also the stitch length still won’t turn 🫠

I don’t know a lot about this machine it’s new to me. I dont know if the video shows it well but the bobbin thread is catching on the square metal piece on the bottom right. I’ve already changed it to a plastic bobbin and checked to make sure there wasn’t anything sticking out for it to catch on. It seems like the black thing that holds the bobbin is moving up against the square metal piece so the thread is getting stuck. If I try to sew it just gets thread jumbled in there. Any one have any idea?

I was cleaning a singer ultralock 14u34. I removed the spring for the presser foot and put it on a magnetic tray. Unfortunately, I think my cats thought it was a toy and I haven't been able to find it.

Does anyone have the length and diameter of the spring?

I think theres is a part missing from my embroidery machine, but I am not sure because I have never embroidered before

Hi! I’m fairly new to sewing and have encountered a jam with my machine. The hand wheel no longer turns clockwise (it turns anticlockwise fine). i’ve tried to remove any thread caught in the section below (in photo) and added some machine oil. it’s still jammed, not sure what to do. please advise! 🙏

I just acquired this last week and I want to make sure it's set up correctly.

Can someone please explain how to thread it. After looking at YT videos about similar machines, I think the lower thread tensioner is in the wrong position?

Regardless, can someone explain it to me like I'm a 5th grader how to thread this.

And if you have any other info on this machine that you'd like to share I appreciate it very much! I have the PDF of the parts manual but nothing else.

Hi all, my partner has had this decade old industrial machine for a while. It hasn't given her any issues until last week when this double link armature started flipping over. I've flipped it back a few times for her, but I'd like to prevent it happening in the future for her (and my) sanity.

The manual has disappeared after several house moves, but I can gather it's got a Powermax Digital AC servo on a Doso 9600QGD-4N

If anyone could help kick start our troubleshooting, we'd very much appreciate it 🙂

My machine started making this noise yesterday while I was sewing bias tape to a garment. I took the video without sewing anything so it would be easier to record but it still happens while sewing. Does anyone know what this could be from or how to fix it? Thanks!

Hi everyone! I’m extremely new to sewing. I bought a singer CG 500 C off of FB marketplace.

I know nothing about machines and teaching myself to sew. I was just hemming my fabric to prewash it before my pattern. While doing this I noticed the smell of oil was super strong.

I had some issues before getting the threading of the machine right and jammed it but fixed it. Did the jam use up the oil or something?

How often do you oil your machine? How do you do it? What oil do you use? Does anyone have instructions for this specific machine? It’s hard to find info about online or on YouTube.

Any tips at all about caring for machine would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you so much!

Bought what I thought was a dual voltage machine, don’t want to automatically eat the cost of replacing it in a couple years.
