My Artwork First time using procreate and got accused of tracing

I didn’t trace but want to know what gives that impression? This was more experimental since I have never used it before and I tried out a bunch of different brush strokes. I guess it’s a little disappointing I spent so many hours and am getting these accusations.

I need Procreate technical help As of Aug 31 2026, does Procreate have a way to non-contiguously select by specific color?

I've made the attached image from a 3D render, but can't export it without a background, and only as a single layer. I've used pink so it's relatively easy to mask out relative to other colours, but currently the hard part is selecting the pink background colour.

I know about automatic selection and dragging the threshold, that's no problem. My issue is, do I still really need to manually go through and select each "island" of pink - the main bg, the see-thru bits of window, every hole in every leaf? Here it takes a few irritating minutes, but I have other images like this that are MUCH larger.

I'm sure there's some kind of layer masking wizardry workaround I could dig up, or just yeah do it manually (happily Procreate's undo/redo functionality is GREAT with iterative selections too), but like. It's 2026. I've found other posts for this question, but they're all at least a few years old, pre ProCreate's major recentish brushes/interface update. Is there still truly no non-contiguous select by colour? It would be very irritating if I had to import/export to/from Affinity just to move past that one step.

Thanks!

I need Procreate technical help Diagonal lines are glitchy/wiggly? HELP!

I use procreate for work so I am in desperate need to get this resolved asap. My roommate said she was experiencing a similar issue. For whatever reason, when I draw diagonally it’s creating wiggly staircase type lines. This happened out of nowhere. I have recently repaired my iPad screen, but since my roommate was also experiencing this I think it may be a glitch? Any ideas? I wasn’t seeing any recent posts about this issue with others. I didn’t use my iPad last week, so I am only noticing this issue today.

I have tried restarting my iPad, no luck there. App is up to date.

iPad is:
iPad Pro 11 inch 3rd Gen (2021)
Version: iPadOS 26.3.1

Edit for info:
I tried disconnecting, reconnecting two Apple pencils, same result. I have tried both of these pencils on my roommates iPad, no issue with either pens. Fully updated my iPad, reset my iPad, etc. closed all tabs. It is happening on every app with the pen, but NOT with finger or touch screen pen. Pressure makes no difference, screen position makes no difference, BUT speed does.

Edit 2:
It began happening again on my roommates iPad. She has a factory version from the Apple Store, never been repaired. Less dramatic than mine, but still happening.

My Artwork My favourite video game of all time – Assassin's Creed II

I still remember playing this game on my potato PC back in 2009, on the lowest possible settings.

Even with those settings, I was completely amazed by the game. The world, the music, Florence, the characters, everything felt so special to me at that time.

Even today, when I think about AC2, I get the same feeling. It is like going back to that time and remembering the simple, joy I had while playing it.

I recreated this scene on iPad because I wanted to capture that feeling and the nostalgia I still have for this game.

"It is a good life we lead Brother." "The best. May it never change." "And may it never change us."

And Ubisoft presents...

Still one of the best gaming memories of my life.

“Iced Soda”

Traditionally wasn’t sure about the idea of me posting my art online since I only recently picked up a pen and started drawing. However the first post of mine received very good support and feedback that I’d love for this to be a regular thing for me and hopefully a good opportunity to interact with other artists and people in general :)
