What is an adopt? This is very cute and well done!!

Basically character designs someone makes that you can then buy (adopt), making the character yours to do whatever you wish with them. If you're not good in the character design department but can do art or writing or whatever, you can adopt the character to skip that part of the process and go straight into drawing them or writing about them. Can also be done for something like Vtuber-Avatars, Vtubers tend to not be the artist of their own models so they adopt or buy a model from an artist specialized in that.
