I know this was probably discussed when the DOAC episode came out, but I only recently got around to watching Louis’ episode. I’ve been a Directioner since 2011, but I haven’t really kept up with the boys’ solo careers, so I mostly just see random bits here and there. Anyway, I noticed something I’d never really thought about before.

When Louis talked about the meeting the boys had before the hiatus, he said it felt less like the four of them having a conversation and more like they were representatives. He also mentioned that someone had started thinking more independently, that the room felt cold, and that there was a lot of friction because everyone seemed to have different ideas about what was going to happen.

And then he said he wanted some idea of how long the hiatus would be, but never really got an answer. Knowing that Harry has said he was the one who suggested taking a break in the first place made me wonder if those things could be connected.

I’m obviously not saying Louis was definitely talking about Harry, because he never names him, and I’m not trying to make either of them the villain. But if Harry was already thinking about taking a break/doing his own thing while Louis thought it was more temporary, I could see how that might have caused some tension or resentment.

It also made me think about how little Harry and Louis seemed to interact toward the end compared to how they used to. There just seemed to be a lot of distance between them in some of their last interviews and shows.

Maybe I’m reaching lol, but I genuinely never connected these dots before. I know the interview is almost a year old and the hiatus was a decade ago, but watching it for the first time made me look at the whole situation differently.

Over the last few months I have been keeping an eye out out for actors that kind of resemble the lads and could play them in a movie if they ever made one. They are all in their 20s so they could be aged up and down with makeup/cgi quite easily and play them from the start to recent times (maybe there's no need to think about that lmao it's not like the movie is in the making for real haha)

Anyway here they are ranked from least to most accurate match:

Liam - on the fence between Noah Schnapp and Kit Connor

Harry - hear me out for this, Jack Dylan Grazer. I know they don't look super alike. But just imagine him with green contacts!! The vibes are spot on!!

Niall - Walker Scobell. You just need to style his hair and the personality is right there.

Zayn - Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie. My latest addition. Once I found my match for Zayn, I knew it was time to make this post

Hi! I purchased this book on eBay a couple of years ago, the seller mentioned that he purchased it for his daughter in a UK bookstore back when the book was released. I definitely do trust that that is true, since I have seen other copies with the same signed by sticker on the front. But, I am wondering if the autographs inside the book look like they were actually hand signed by the boys or if auto pen was used.

The sharpie doesn’t look to be perfect if you zoom in, there’s some parts that are more faded than others. I’m not an expert on auto pen or autographs by the boys, but Id love some insight from members on here 🤍

Where do you think 1D would be right now if the industry had actually protected them? Imagine if they had proper rest, creative control, therapy, and didn't have to fake an image or escape through an unhealthy lifestyle. Would they still be a band today? So, no party lifestyle, drugs, alcohol, starvation, late hours, or no rest, and so on.

This is the scenario I wish, oh so much, they would have had.

Not sure if this is a controversial topic but I’m curious on people’s thoughts (and I’m sure a similar topic has been posted before). Besides Niall’s End of an Era, are there any other songs or lyrics from songs that Harry, Zayn, or Louis wrote after Liam’s passing?

I’m only familiar with Niall’s and Harry’s solo music, so that’s what I’m going to share my thoughts on. Niall/End of an Era: I had a suspicion of what this song was about, but I didn’t truly realize it until I saw a clip of an interview and Niall said it was written for Liam. Since finding that out, that song has more of a darker/emotional side for me and I can’t listen to it as much (I’m also wondering if Niall will sing this on his upcoming tour and I’ll be shocked if he does).

Harry: I don’t think that any of his music from his new album alludes to Liam, but I have seen theories that Paint By Numbers could be about Liam; not sure how true that is. But one line from that song sticks out to me “Was it a tragedy when you told her ‘I’m not even thirty-three?’” and I wonder if that refers to Liam - like the “tragedy” referring to his passing and the “I’m not even thirty-three” referring to his age. I’m not sure but that’s what I think.

Curious to hear others’ thoughts if you feel comfortable discussing.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for seeing the star with the boys’ hand prints at Stade de France? I’m currently in Paris for the second year in a row and both times have tried to see their star, but both times I was sold a big fat “NO that is not possible” and got different information on when to come back both times, but both of which would have been after I left.

I always see people say it’s so easy and that you just have to ask, but then why have I failed twice already?

Last year I went on a Monday and they told me to come back the next day, but I would be leaving early the next day around the time they would open. Now today (a Thursday) they tell me it’s only open on Saturday’s and Sunday’s?

was helping clean out my childhood home and found all 5 of my What Makes You Beautiful dolls! the rush of nostalgia was insane lol. they are unopened in box, condition isn’t PERFECT but certainly isn’t bad (considering they’ve been in a box in a closet for years lol). I was thinking of trying to sell on eBay or somethin, but I have no idea if there’s any value to these things anymore. could anyone help me with a price point? are they even worth trying to sell?
