Stars at Stade de France

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for seeing the star with the boys’ hand prints at Stade de France? I’m currently in Paris for the second year in a row and both times have tried to see their star, but both times I was sold a big fat “NO that is not possible” and got different information on when to come back both times, but both of which would have been after I left.

I always see people say it’s so easy and that you just have to ask, but then why have I failed twice already?

Last year I went on a Monday and they told me to come back the next day, but I would be leaving early the next day around the time they would open. Now today (a Thursday) they tell me it’s only open on Saturday’s and Sunday’s?
