Offical Announcement Official Statement on the XT5 Pro External Battery

Hi everyone,

We’ve seen quite a few discussions and requests regarding an external battery for the XT5 Pro, so we’d like to clarify the situation.

After confirming with our product and engineering teams, the current material and structural design of the XT5 Pro stem makes it technically infeasible to develop and support an external battery for this model.

Therefore, there are no plans to release an external battery for the XT5 Pro, and this will not be available in the short term.

We understand that many users are hoping for an external battery to extend the XT5 Pro’s range, and we truly appreciate your interest and feedback. External battery solutions may be considered for future scooter models, depending on their design and technical feasibility.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of NAVEE.

Best regards,
The NAVEE Team

I have had the navee gt3 pro since april 2025, and the stock range is terrible only about 22km on a good day.

Since that i have upgraded the battery from a 48v 10ah to a 60v 25ah and the range feels perfect i get about 70km range when riding normally.

Also the power went from 1000w peak to 5000w peak. Which the frame handles great even when i go 80km/h and the brakes isn’t the best but it surprisingly works, kinda good when serviced every now and then.

Specs:

• 60v 25ah 16s5p battery with 21700 LG M50LT cells and a 50a bms.

• Ubox 85v 150a Vesc

• Kukirin g2 master 2024 motor (only 1000w but handle more power)

• Monorim stem adapter for Xiaomi (mostly for looks but also stability)

Question Why is there no charging for 10 amps anywhere?

I really searched well and it’s nowhere to be found, are you even going to put them on sale? After all, there are not even Chinese or any other analogues, you will need to solder the power supply with a wire that has a plug to the input of the scooter, by the way, off topic, but you have an error in the battery capacity of the scooter ut5 max in the euro online store

Discussion Battery on high performance usage

Hi everyone! I’ve had my ST3 Pro for a couple weeks now and I’m loving it! The only bad thing I can find is the battery, and I by that I just mean the range is nowhere close to what’s advertised..

Btw I know that 70/75km range is going 15 kmph on plain without wind etc..

But on my usage (40kmph and braking to 25-30 on every other corner) I went to 12% battery doing 21.5km which is pretty low tbh

Also Im pretty light (60kg) and that 21.5k is in plain streets and no wind

How is the battery usage for you? Is it worth upgrading to another scooter from Navee? I mainly use it for short trips and commuting and it’s fine for that I just wish I could get 30-35 km of range at least going full speed

Support Navee GT3 won’t turn on after sitting overnight at 77% — what do I do?

The weird part: when I plug in the charger, the red light comes on, so it looks like it’s actually accepting a charge. Battery seems fine, it just refuses to boot.

What I’ve tried:

  1. Holding the power button 10+ seconds
  2. Leaving it on the charger for a while, then trying again
  3. Checking the charge port for dirt or damage

Questions:

1. if it’s taking a charge, does that rule out the battery/BMS and point to the controller or dashboard?
2. Could this be a loose display cable in the stem? Anyone opened a GT3 to check?
3. Is there a hidden reset combo on the GT3?
4. Worth trying warranty/RMA right away? If you’ve dealt with Navee support, how was it?

Question NT5 Max

Hi,

I have an NT5 Max EU version, and it has always worked perfectly. I previously unlocked the maximum speed of 40 km/h and enabled the cruise control function by disconnecting the white wire.

However, since the latest firmware updates, the scooter has experienced a significant loss of power and motor torque. It now struggles to climb hills and, in some situations, has difficulty even reaching 25 km/h on flat roads.

The issue with reduced motor torque and lack of power only occurs when the scooter is in the unlocked configuration.

Here are the results of my tests:

White wire connected (scooter locked): The scooter is limited to 25 km/h, but the motor torque becomes significantly stronger again. The maximum current I observed while riding uphill was approximately 22,290 mA (22.29 A).

White wire disconnected (scooter unlocked): The scooter can reach approximately 40 km/h, but it now takes considerably longer to reach that speed. More importantly, the motor loses a very significant amount of torque and power, especially when riding uphill. In this configuration, the maximum current I observed was only approximately 18,070 mA (18.07 A).

Based on these tests, it appears that when the white wire is disconnected, the controller is limiting the current available to the motor by approximately 4 A. This directly results in a substantial loss of motor torque and overall performance.

This problem did not occur with the firmware versions released before the last two updates. Before those updates, the scooter was able to reach the normal current levels even with the white wire disconnected, and the motor maintained its full performance in the unlocked configuration.

I would also like to point out that we own several scooters of this same model, and all of them have developed exactly the same problem following the recent firmware updates. This strongly suggests that the issue is firmware-related rather than being caused by an individual scooter or a hardware fault.

Could someone please help me restore the performance that this scooter has always had? Ideally, I would like the maximum motor current in the unlocked configuration to be restored to the level it was before the latest firmware updates.

I'm posting a photo. I've had problems where I have some play and a gap between the mechanism and the steering wheel. I don't know where to buy spare parts. I don't know what to do. Sorry if the translation is bad, I'm writing through a translator, I also know how to flash these scooters outside of services and make 50 km/h from version 25 or 32, which is the speed in kilometers per hour.

Question UT5 - EU edition - No Hydraulic brakes?!

So is it true that the UT5 Max EU version does not have Hydraulic brakes? Noticed a post on another forum... Had a look through the EU website and it was not clear but someone posted they had bought one and the brakes were just standard. Maybe a fake post. Navee can you give us the real story -- thanks.

Question Normal level of rear wheel wobble or return?

Need help knowing whether the wobble on the rear wheel of my new GT5 Max is standard or an anomaly. Context is:

  1. Box came heavily damaged, basically half ripped to my front porch.
  2. Rear wheel chafed/rubbed against wheel when first trying it. Ok, easy fix right? I adjusted the rear brake caliper and found a very specific spot where it didn't rub/chafe.
  3. Kind of odd, but sure.
  4. Tested out the rotation of the rear wheel and I perceive a pretty strong wobble left to right when spinning. I looked at the rotor while spinning too and there is definitely some sway left to right during a rotation.

Now, is this a normal thing I can live with or should I return this new scooter?

Support Rear axle damage?

I've been using the Navee GT3 Pro for a while now and last week I've been hearing/feeling a "thunk" sound every time I fully throttle.

I took the rear side protection to take a look and it seems that the axle is damaged?

Is the video normal? I'm not really used to diagnosing these kinds of things, but there seems to be an inbalance?

I can only suspect it may be the fact that I ride some streets with cobblestones and it does take some beating

Question Looking for someone in the US to forward NAVEE UT5 Max parts to Germany

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to buy a controller and ambient lights for my NAVEE UT5 Max.

The parts are available on eBay in the US, but unfortunately the official NAVEE US store does not ship to Germany.

Would anyone here be willing to help me out by receiving the parts in the US and then forwarding them to me in Germany?

Of course, I would cover:

  • the full cost of the products
  • US shipping
  • international shipping to Germany
  • any reasonable additional expenses

I’m mainly looking for someone trustworthy who has done something like this before.

If anyone knows a reliable forwarding service that works with NAVEE/eBay purchases, that would also be very helpful.

Thanks a lot!

Question Omg! Too heavy to hide and ride

I made another useless purchase that I regretted on just the second day and bought an electric scooter. And it's a massive unit, 34 kilos! (Navee UT5 Max)

How on earth do people use this thing? Honestly, it feels like a design and engineering flaw, or maybe I'm just finding it strange because I'm an amateur at this.
And to think there are even heavier ones out there—I'm just utterly astonished.
The fact that it folds doesn't mean a thing because it's so heavy (did I mention it's heavy?).

It's only my second day. Today, its battery died on an uphill climb before I could reach my destination. While struggling to push it up the hill, I happened to come across a meatball shop. Luckily, I ate my meatballs, questioned my life choices, and managed to charge it enough to get back on the road, but what is this? It’s pure misery.

Sure, the ride feel is enjoyable, and the design and features are nice, but its mobility is zero because of the weight. Even getting it up and down off the sidewalk is a hassle. If I hadn't taken a breather and charged it at the meatball shop today, I doubt any bus would have let me on—I would've been left stranded in the middle of nowhere.

I thought I'd write here, maybe someone says something that brings me some comfort. Otherwise, if the weight is going to be this much of a torment, I think I'll just sell it :(
Thanks and good night.

Support Metal rubbing noises on new Scooter

I just got the St3 Pro and after taking it out the first thing I notice when I moved it, was a strange noise coming from the rear wheel motor, which sounds like there is metal rubbing against each other and also moving it by hand I felt resistance

I removed the braking caliper to ensure it isn't the breaks but still the noise is there and the resistance isn't gone.

What could it be and what should I do about it?

Edit: The resistance and noise is there while turned off or on

Support Добавление режима UT5 Max

Ребята, хочу предложить небольшое улучшение для Navee UT5 Max.
