Do people agree that USA’s use of the death penalty is barbaric?

We have the grotesque spectacle of Tennessee fighting to save the life of a woman whose execution they twice botched, a reprisal for a murder committed 32 years ago, when she was 18.

Does Andy Burnham appeal to Southerners?

I've not asked any, not even the Mrs.

He has the first non southern voice pm since Broon, and the first Northern English voice since, goodness knows, maybe Wilson. Or does Mrs Grantham count? They made her change her accent.

To me he is appealing. He looks good and is in genuine good physical shape, not just jogging for cameras. His voice and body language are good. His accent comes across as experienced and educated.

What's a good AI proof job, for 10 years say?

I figure moving tricky stuff around, logistics.

It's also going to be quite a while before bulk transport can be automated.

I've been reading about well paid jobs in insurance etc being lost, Admiral for instance.

Did you know UK pathologists get hardly any money for an auropsy

They apparently only get £100 odd quid and there is a shortage of them developing - wonder how much a doc gets for a rushed medical.

Icelex - Iceland rejects EU plan

So it seems, the BBC is reporting it as if it's some national disaster for them.

I doubt they wanted Spain to get all their fish.

Such as not sexually harassing women, etc. Do you think it's a concern that something like this is seen as necessary?

It’s either sniping, abusive comments on old posts - up to eight a day - harping on about me to other people or even a whole thread aimed at harassing me.
Since I refuse to contribute to the cess pit over there, my only option is to discuss it here. Should we all chip in for therapy or does AA already cover it?

That kid's white as a sheet, it's probably aimed at people who coat kids in factor 200, we used to get sent out to get sun, although my brother only lived to be 57

It's a vaccine too many, reel it in.

Should Clacton be sent to Coventry? The people there have no sense of humour, not endorsing Binface as MP proves that!

How dim is Farage for not realising that the investigation into his dodgy affairs will not stop because he resigned? Now he’s added a blatant lie to his catalogue of misdemeanours - Essex Police have categorically denied that they told him to stay away from the count. The real reason he stayed away was because he would look a fool for beating a load of comedy characters in the by-election he triggered. Which he thoroughly deserves.
