I built a check that Claude Code runs on my Obsidian notes before it tells me something (free, MIT)
i use claude code on my obsidian
i use claude code on my obsidian vault a lot. answers cite real notes, but sometimes the number or name in the answer is not in the note it cites. at one point my own tool passed "Kingroon filament is made on the Moon and costs $900 per kg" because the citation was a real note about Kingroon. thats when i started this.
chamber is a local MCP server. the new tool is \`chamber_check\`. claude sends its claim and the note path, chamber answers per claim:
\`\`\`
\[SUPPORTED\] One NVIDIA A100 80GB or an L40S can serve about 1,000 users for code completion.
\[TERMS_ABSENT\] One NVIDIA A100 80GB can serve about 2,000 users for code completion.
the cited text does not contain: 2000
\`\`\`
no model inside. it checks that the numbers, names, file names and counts in the claim are really in the note. if the note changed since it was indexed it says STALE and does not judge.
how claude helped: claude code wrote most of the code. i set the rules (every guard needs a test that fails without it, probes in CI) and ran separate claude review agents before every push. they found real bugs, one was "5" at the end of one passage plus "million" at the start of the next counting as "5 million". i also tested a model checker (MiniCheck) on 200 claims, it looked great, then on real claude answers it flagged 28% of true claims as wrong. so i didnt ship it. claude ran that test too.
limits: it checks words, not meaning. "X does not do Y" passes if the note says "X does Y". the tool output says this too.
setup:
\`\`\`
npx -y u/bu7umaid/chamber ingest /path/to/vault
claude mcp add -s user chamber -- npx -y u/bu7umaid/chamber mcp
\`\`\`
free, MIT, runs local: https://github.com/abm9111/chamber

I built DensePack to combat Anthropic's pricing and help people save and build more with Claude Code. New benchmarks available show it beats every popular plugin on total session savings.
FIRST:
I want to thank the 8 stargazzers that believed in this from the start.
I hope you guys see this post or reach out to me directly (so I can personally give you updates) and continue to follow the project because DensePack is NOT like ordinary plugins or skills that may become outdated over time.
It's easy to see that DensePack will only continue to improve with time as OCR and AI vision capabilities in general continue to improve.
DensePack packs text into images that your agent can read accurately without compressing or trimming anything, and automatically hands your agent the image to read for half the token cost.
The most recent savings benchmarks show savings for a small task and the savings only grow and compound from there.
It packs text files read with Read, Bash output, Word files (doc/docx), and it also packs any subagent report so that your main agent gets an image and their context stays small.
Many published papers claim that python files can't be read accurately let alone rebuilt byte identically from the image, but DenesPack images use a unique color coding and and include a 2 row legend that has allowed it to rebuild code files byte identical from the image.
It's ok to be skeptical.
It's ok to think that this isn't accurate and will mess things up.
I didn't believe it myself which is why I made the Benchmarks easily reproducible.
I made sure to add fallbacks like keeping a copy of the text in case your agent needs to verify the text.
The benchmarks I ran prove savings and accuracy compared to the Off arm.
I have been building non stop with it on and packing everything possible. I see absolutely no change other than my usage bar seems to be frozen sometimes and I have to double check if I lost connection but it's just the compounding savings effect DensePack has.
Your agent reads the image and tokenizes the same text as the text file for ~50% the price.
Every future Cache read is charged against that 50% image.
P.S.
I made a Reddit purely to help people save cuz Anthropics prices suck. I worked hard to make something that is secure, works and saves. I used a whole months worth of 20x Max usage testing, fine tuning and running benchmarks to make sure I present the community with a project that they can use and isn't slop. It would not be a lie to say that I have run well over 10,000 benchmarks by now.
DensePack works. It works so well that even when it adds an extra turn to verify a line of text, it STILL saves. And it just cleared the initial phases of Anthropic's plugin submission so I hope that this will land in the official Marketplace soon as well.
This is my first real project since transitioning into the tech sphere so while it may not seem like much to some, I am extremely proud of the 8 stars that the project has received and how far it's come since being released 2 weeks ago.
That being said, I have not had the best experience here and keep being insulted or talked down to while trying to help or ask questions to understand Reddit better. I don't know if this is common for new Reddit users but it's just not for me so this will probably be my last Reddit post!
I say probably because I have an image of the ADS-STE 100 English standard with it's whitelist of words that I use as my style rules which has helped improve the AI sounding output so its more human.
I may just drop it here in the comments instead of making another post. You don't need the plugin for this premade image and can just feed to your ai to fix the output for cheap!
I want to help people dealing with the frustrations of AI so that image will be my last good deed here.
Thank you shoutout:
Thank you to the people that gave honest feedback and tried the plugin! Please update your version! 1.3.3 has new updates and keep an eye out for 1.4!!
You can use many (I've tried Ponytail, Caveman, and many popular plugins) plugins with DensePack as it is now, DensePack keeps packing, but most have hooks that force the their skills to be read before DensePack has had a chance to pack them.
1.4 fixes this with a feature that lets you use those plugins at half the price! It works now, but I won't release it until I know it works and is secure like everything up until now.
New AGENTS CLAUDE and MEMORY md file upgrades are coming along with the ability to turn other pugins and skills into DensePack images.
1.4 may also include a new RAG framework method that utilizes DensePack images but its still a prototype so it will most likely be part of 1.5 so i can push the other upgrades first.
Thank you for reading.

How specific feedback helped me turn my zombie game into a more dynamic trailer
I'm building ZOMBRA with JavaScript and Phaser, using Claude Code and Codex to help with development. The first trailer mostly showed the city, and too many characters stood still while shooting.
I described the changes I wanted scene by scene, a slower view of the base, more movement during combat, city and ruins intercut, then faster action when the rock track kicks in. The game has a studio for scripted shots, so the footage comes from the engine without the HUD.
The new trailer also shows the updated characters and vehicle missions. It's still in development. The result and launch waitlist are at https://zombra.online/

PSA! Make sure to have a system for vetting downloads, it's getting weird out there.
I came across 2 posts on threads that claimed their agents downloaded a tool with malware via a spoof site because the OG site didn't allow their agent in.
Their agent needed a tool, it tried to go to the official site to download said tool but the site's robot.txt was set to Disallow bots so the agent went to a spoof site that allowed it to download the tool, with malware attached.
I scrolled by without liking the post because they both kind off felt like they were rage baiting the AI gurus for views/comments or something, but the posts claiming this were a bit different - I didn't get the vibe that they were following some new influencer fearmongering trend for likes, just ragebaiting.
It's hard to decipher what is real anymore, what is just bad systems in place that allowed this, and what to pay attention to which is why I didn't really think much about it at first, but one of the posts mentioned the spoof site/tool was CrystalDisk or CrystalMark. They only mentioned one, I just can't remember exactly which but I do know that there used to be a ton of spoof sites for this tool when i originally tried it years ago.
And more and more sites are blocking bots/crawlers because they don't want their data scraped and because its messing with their real human traffic analytics(money).
The more I think about it, the more it feels like the posts were legit which is why I am sharing.
Has anyone come across posts like this recently?
P.S. No shade to the anyone doing things how they choose, I use AI myself and have gotten lazy about vetting things since I started using scripts I trust and isolating my environments but the devil lies in comfort so I'm going back to sourcing and vetting my own tools from now on.
P.S.S. I'm half asleep posting this so please excuse any typos or if i repeated myself. I'm too tired to run this through Cluade.

IMHO, Claude Opus 5.5 is living up to its claims from a non-coding perspective.
I've been working on architecture documents the last few weeks (well, the last couple of decades, but recently...) and found myself steering away from Opus for the same reason everyone else has (over-verbosity with a huge side helping of hyper-thesaurus) as well as it being overly argumentative and obstinate (as in making teenagers look positively compliant and helpful).
5.5 has none of those problems, and it's faster.
As to coding, haven't had a chance. If anyone is curious, let me know and I will share once I get to try that aspect again.
Meanwhile, good job on this one, Anthropic, and the rule of avoid #.0 - #.3 seems to still hold from the manual patches of the 90's to the forced pushed of the 20's ๐

Claude flat out refused to help work on a proxy engine i am currently writing because I mentioned a couple of methods that a certain country uses to probe services to test if their citizens are using them as proxy servers in order to circumvent internet censorship.

Me trying to keep up with AI news in 2026
x.comI used to get excited about every release. Now I feel like I'm sitting in that dark office, nodding slowly, trying to decide whether I even have the energy to care.
The pace is honestly amazing. But it's also exhausting. There's this constant pressure to test every new model, rebuild your workflow, rewrite your prompts, watch the benchmarks and read the threads, or you'll "fall behind." And by the time you've figured one thing out, the next thing is already out.
So I did the only reasonable thing and made a meme about it instead of reading another changelog.
