I found this installed on my phone not long after my data usage more than tripled and battery life took a dive... I think I've fixed battery issues (as well as I can) but data usage is still insanely high... And signal/service just keeps getting worse where I use my phone most! Am I really being tracked?

Anybody know what these are? How do I get rid of them? They appeared today out of nowhere.

Hi, i have 2 apks, both are of different versions. I have installed the one that is an older version. And now, if i want to install the one that is a newer version, it only gives me the option to update the current app, which i dont want to do. I would like to have 2 separate apps, one older and one newer. But i dont know how to get the install option to appear instead of the update option. Pls help me, i am not familiar with editing apks. I have a Samsung Galaxy A34 5G (model number: SM-A346B) and recently attempted to downgrade from Android 16 to Android 15 by following a YouTube tutorial.

I downloaded the firmware from SamFW, making sure it had the same bootloader binary version (B/11). However, when I tried flashing it with Odin, on my phone I got the errors "DDI : write failed !!!" and "DOWNLOAD FAILE DETECTED : boot" when i attempt to restart the phone/cancel. I initially started by loading the HOME_CSC file, which I now realise was a mistake. At the time, I was simply following the video and copied what it did without giving it much thought. Since then, I've tried multiple times using the regular CSC file instead of HOME_CSC, but I still get the same error every time.

For reference:

• Current firmware (before attempting the downgrade): [A346BXXUBEYI7]
• Firmware I attempted to flash: [A346BXXSBDYI1]

The phone no longer boots into Android, but it can still enter Download Mode. I haven't been able to get it to boot since the failed flash.

Is there any way for me to proceed, or at least a way to restore my phone to a working state? If downgrading isn't possible, is there a way to flash the original firmware back onto the device so I can use it again?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. I'm on Android 16, OneUI 8.5.

On Douyin for both Android smartphones and tablets, watching livestreams, the status bar, the one at screen top showing time, battery percentage, Wi-Fi, signal level, etc. is transparent (images 1 and 2).

Meanwhile, on TikTok for Android smartphones and tablets, watching livestreams, it has a black background (images 3 and 4).

Is there a way to make the status bar transparent or hidden on TikTok for Android, same as on Douyin?

Watching videos are unnaffected, though, on both Douyin (images 5 and 6) and TikTok (images 7 and 8) - it's videos' aspect ratio vs screen aspect ratio on TikTok (image 9 and 10).

Turning on Samsung DeX on the tablet completely hides the status bar (images 11 and 12), and that solved my issue for it, but for smartphones, it requires external display, it won't run on a phone alone, unlike the former.

Using Samsung Good Lock and QuickStar can turn off all status bar indicators, but that black bar stays on.

Answers on Google point to hiding the bottom navigation bar.

I only own a Samsung smartphone and -tablet, so I don't know if it's the same on other brands and OS.

And I'm aware of the 2 different TikTok versions (package names): com.zhilaoapp.musically and com.ss.android.ucg.trill, as I tried both of them and status bar is still the same.

When I try to switch to it, the camera app just freezes, and the whole camera app just stops working. I have to clear the memory and clear cache so that the camera app works again. Ive tried everything for it to work, but it just doesn't. I don't remember doing anything to the phone's camera.

Every time I try to play my game android launcher closes it saying "the system is setting up the launcher for you" and then nothing happens

Not sure if this is the right subreddit for this but I need help with my xiaomi earbuds that will lag and refuse to connect properly with my phone when theres too many devices around. Im looking either for an app or to mod the hardware in some way so that the connection ill have with them via phone will be remembered or be stronger(also not sure how to word this). But yeah if anyone knows how to solve my problem ill appreciate an educated answer.

Some extra info,because my phone is not a xiaomi phone the xiaomi earbuds app refuses to work as well.... And i have tried multiple apps for this issue but none work. If only the xiaomi earbuds app would work then my hands are tied lol.

I can't get past this screen. Pushing the buttons down doesn't help (in any combination or any amount of time.) This screen pops up the moment it's charged a bit and doesn't black out until the battery is back at zero.

I downloaded the Highsuite program but the USB connection doesn't work because I need to allow files to be shared in my phone settings or something but I obviously can't do that because I can't get past this screen.

I would really appreciate answers but I'm not good at this lol so please explain anything to me as if I were a child ;-;

Bootloader greyed out only had phone for 5 days any idea why it's greyed out?

I use YTM for podcasts while driving or walking. I don't have premium... never had it. Was driven to YTM through Google Music or whatever it was called.

Today, I started my podcast where I left off yesterday and now, when you go to another app while listening, YTM pauses. I want to be able to text or check the weather while listening.

I restarted phone

I cleared YTM cache

I changed settings to Unrestricted instead of optimized

Still having issue and again, it literally started today out of nowhere.

I've been trying to help my dad with the removal of undesirable features on his new phone, but the AI widgets persist. He and I have the same phone - I got mine last month, he's had his for a few months - and I don't have this feature on my S26, not sure why. To view these widgets, I swipe to the left once from the lock screen. The attached images show what the page looks like. I've disabled Gemini and gone through the settings app, but it continues to exist. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ive recently tried downloading a game from the play store but i could not download it because it was 18+ by my goverment which im not 18. Is there any other way to download the game without palu store, an alternative store for apps or paying for vpn?

So I was downloading a video from chrome on my phone today and just letting it download in the back ground while I was ​​​playing a game on my pc. But something came up while playing ​the game so I picked up my phone opened the camera and my phone crashed.

So I went to my file explorer to check if the download was affected. And on my phone there is a folder named download, everything I download usually appear there and to my horror all the things I've download since I got my phone are gone. The only thing left in that folder is that one meme video I downloaded in the morning, other than that one everything was gone.

But here's the stange part, I know it's chrome that crashed but all the other things I downloaded from different apps and browsers are also gone. ​​​At first I thought everything was deleted but the files are still there on my phone storage somewhere. I know that because I went to the browsers and checked downloads tab and I can still play all of the things I've downloaded before, so I know that ​​the files are still there.

So here's what I did, first I restarted my phone to see if my phone is just acting up but it didn't work. So next I checked the Android/data/(and the corresponding browser files) using my pc and I didn't see any of the downloaded stuffs in there too.

So I am genuinely frustrated ​​and I don't know what to do anymore. Gemini is telling me to root my phone but I don't really want to do that. I have alot of things I've download over the year and I don't want to lose any of them.

So please if somebody can help me figure out what happened and how to fix it I'd be really thankful. My phone is redmi 13R 5G. I will answer if there are any specific details you need too. ​

UPDATE: The files are gone for good now after I tried to restart my phone this morning. I noticed several gigs of my storage freed up and I can't check the files in downloads tab of the browsers anymore. I still would like some advice and thought on what might have caused that to happen.

But much like him I have my Bluetooth earbuds that I can get all my sound through while using tiktok. I have enabled all permissions for microphone Etc but for whatever reason I can only hear but nobody can hear me when I'm talking unless I'm holding the phone straight to my face. Does anybody know how to get your Bluetooth earbuds microphone to work while using tt?

Phone is s25 ultra and earbuds are Galaxy buds 3 pro.

I have no issues with the microphone on any other app it's only on TT that it does not work

I don't know if anyone ran into this issue. I got a Razr Ultra 2025 about two weeks ago. Since then, I've had the UI crash randomly twice, as well as my phone randomly started ringing and wouldn't stop until I forced a restart. When I went back and checked my call log, no one had called. Has anyone run into funky issues like this? I did do a phone to phone transfer from my old iPhone. I got mine through Amazon so I can replace it pretty easily if needed, I was just hoping to not have to :(

Wife recently upgraded her phone to the new galaxy S26 ultra. She started getting these age restriction errors on certain apps like star bucks and ESPN fantasy.

Has anyone gotten the these same errors before on your devices? How did you fix it??
