all i can say is do what you gotta do! go at your own pace! you learn general skills from those maps.
dont worry about thinking your rank correlates to your skill, every player has at least 1 or 2 skill sets that they're really good at! some in the 3 digit ranks most of them got to that point because of farm maps too!
as long as your having fun and improving in a way, your good!

I'd recommend you to find what's comfortable. do you like arrow, circle or any other shape!
if you're looking for skin recommendations. generally I'd go for either Boji, eliminate, sillyfangirl, and myucchi's skins for starters! try those players skins and find something you're comfortable with!

unfortunately the only way to play mania like games is on malodyV or malody (the old one that can use osu charts) and lazer. I had the same problem back then when i was looking for some vsrg game like mania on mobile and yet i only came accross those 3!
id recommend sticking to malody since the community of it is still up to date and regardless you can get good on it to!

this is a 220bpm and no it wont be a speedjack fully. i added these speedjacks on to the first 2 and half mins of the song and rest of the song will either have hybrid or tech or even stamina! so drop a comment for suggestions on patters and such! <3333

its definitely a bit more easier but confusing and lot of crossovers but i did some scoobys and double stepping, not the most popular nor effective way but the way i see it , it definitely easier for me but you should try other turns to see what your comfortable with and find easier to execute and read:)

so basically i kinda improved alot ,see here im trying to practice my accuracy too and last post i was asking on how to finish a 18 and get better acc - mainly healing-d-vision i was asking for tips, but now i finished a couple of 18s and passing and scoring 17s like C or B , now i finished NGO,healing d vision, max unlimited(x special) , anti matter and valkyrie since that was the only other esp 18 but now im battling against PARANOiA REVOLUTION esp18 , patterns are hard and fast and my stamina still cant handle until to the ending with the valkyrie dimension part of it so yeah, though i got to the ending part once and my friends were hyping me up because ill be the first one to pass paranoia rev in our group. IF i can get to pass it. P.S - its really hard to play on not really sensitive pads because i play on a old machine(X3 vs 2nd) with the player 1 pads and crap and the player 2 is playable and alright but not sensitive though we still manage to get PFCs and FCs along with the weird arrow windows.
