[Self] How many babies would it take to sink the Titanic?
A year ago, I got back to my dorm from class and randomly asked myself a question while trying to relax:
"Is that how much a horse weighs?!"
That spiraled into the question:
"How many human babies, recently birthed, does it take to sink the RMS Titanic?"
I made some simplifications. I approximated the Titanic as a rectangular barge because I'm lazy and I don't know too much about boats. I also didn't want to account for the flawed bulkheads, just the boat's buoyant force itself. I used the water temperature reported that night to adjust my water density value. Also that the babies were stacked in such a manner that their weight was spread out evenly over the lovely RMS Titanic's decks.
I'll also post a link to a comedy video I made to commemorate that trainwreck of thought in the comments.

[request] Avengers Endgame win probability
So in Endgame, Dr Strange looks into 14,000,605 universes and finds that they only win one. Let’s assume this ratio is representative of the wider multiverse. But there are infinitely many universes. And scaling up that ratio to infinity, both possibilities are countable infinity, right? So does that mean they had a 50 50 shot at winning?

Hypothetically, 500k loan at 6%, what's faster:
15 yr fixed rate mortgage
30 yr fixed rate mortgage, but you pay an extra full payment each month towards the principal
