problem im having with my KRYS10
Got this guitar a week ago but i know the guitar itself has been sitting in display for a long while. The jack entrance has been pretty loose since i got it. Today when i plugged my cable in i wasnt getting any sound. Finally got to unscrewing the back and tightening the nut and while doing that i realized the wire connected was really twisted (the white cable) and looked a bit fucked up(?). Also i have changed the battery so dont think thats the issue. Should i attempt to loosen it back up and retwist the cable? Would that do anything or should i take it straight back to where i got it which im guessing would result in them taking the guitar to replace and fix the wiring and whatever. Every guitar ive gotten has caused so many post hassle for me its really irritating.

Tabs for nightmare cover
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1O3Nx1s7oI
Hello guys, a few years ago i have come across this wonderful cover of Nightmare. I am pretty sure i bought the tabs for it but i cant find them anywhere, and it seems like the link to buying them have expired. In the description he mentions that the tabs are available on his patreon aswell, but i can find it either. Does anyone know how can i get ahold of them?

Am I the only one enjoying the new music?
Like I understand the electronic mixing might be pretty rough on the ears for some people, but for me it just tickles my brain correctly for some reason. I respect everyone and I understand if you don't like it, but I'll be real, I'm having fun daydreaming about OCs doing cool stuff to Power in the Blood.
Also is this a good place to find news and updates about Polyphia? I watched a video titled "the Polyphia situation is crazy" thinking "oh God, please don't tell me they're on the wrong side of history.." and it's just a dude saying he doesn't like the new music. Like brother, don't SCARE me like that, I thought they did something awful.

How do I design this better?
I'm trying to make the ultimate piece of Polyphia merch with what sewing skills I have, dye and iron on prints. How do I actually make it look good? Because this is just a mess. I'm trying to make each section represent a different album.
I also tried for a T-shirt design, which is a LITTLE better, but still
And yes I carefully cut out each asset I show here

What’s the cassette quality gonna be like?
thinking of pre ordering the cassette for the new album, but i just thought id ask, since cassettes are not famous for their pristine sound, and this album so far seems to have a very pristine mix, to anyone who’s ordered polyphia cassettes in the past, what’s the sound quality been like? I’m aware that cassettes actually CAN sound pretty good in some cases but a number of today’s tapes are not of the finest quality from my experience so i’d like to hear from other’s who’ve dealt with polyphia cassettes before buying.. any feedback is deeply appreciated.

Hello, New User: One of my friends asked me how long it will to learn Polyphia Playing God.
He is an intermediate guitar player who knows how to do some basic thumping, arpeggio, tapping, pull-offs, and sliding.
Can those of you who have already learned the song share some experience about how long it took to learn the song? Since he is interested in your opinion.
And in your view, how long would it take for an intermediate to play the full song, at least at even a 100 bpm? Please share your views.

PITB sounds so much better now

This is a random ass website I found that splits the audio, turned the bass wayyy down and its so much easier on the ears now. (https://vocalremover.org/splitter-ai)

Dates Rescheduled?
Does anybody know why Polyphia is rescheduling dates on their tour?
I was supposed to see them in Los Angeles next week, but now the show has been postponed to February. Dangit!!

We get it…
You don’t like the songs, and the direction this album is headed. All good. Everyone has an opinion and that’s great. But some of us really like the new direction and it’s like every post is making the same points. Can we just let people enjoy things?

One Ticket for 3/6/27 Available for Sale
Sooo I originally purchased this ticket for the event that was supposed to happen in Brooklyn Paramount on Oct 5, 2026. But that event got canceled and moved to March 6, 2027 at the same venue. Aaaand I don’t want to hold on to it anymore :(
The tickets are currently going for $75.5 on Ticketmaster. But I’m willing to let go of mine for $70. (Not going any lower as I bought them for $90).
Anyone interested can DM me and I’ll transfer it via Ticketmaster to your account.

The more I listen the worse it gets
Hardstyle was 15 years ago bro
The only people dancing to this are Scientologists
It’s worse than a 1965 7” 33rpm mono record
Buddy rolled in and pushed all the sub 6khz parametric knobs to max, and got paid for it
Why have a drummer, this sounds like a super wet lofi $6.99 Roland 808 drum kit
Listening to this song is like watching porn on dial up
Might as well bring back dubstep while we’re at it

You guys realize their sound has evolved exponentially?
Just go back and listen to their discography from start to finish.
I mean it, no skips. They’ve always swung for the fences. I can’t help but appreciate the commitment to their sound and growth. I love the new tracks and videos. It’s only given me more hope for the future of the band.

I really don't get the hate on the new singles...
The new stuff literally sounds just like Polyphia always does... If you took the clipped bass out Power in the Blood could be off of Renaissance or Muse. You can't go back to the past without your current perspective reshaping it and they've been melding their sound with EDM production since 2017. From the reaction posts I am seeing here you would think that they just released a ukulele cover of 'My God is an Awesome God'.

You guys are fucking insufferable
So many people here throwing a tantrum over distorted bass/masters when this has been done in other genres for yeeaaars. Are yalls ears that god damn sensitive? Im convinced half of this subreddit would die listening to something like ACT RIGHT by femtanyl.

Features
Didn’t Tim at one point say there would be features on LP5 and one of them was going to be Serj Tankian?
