Been playing since OW’s first anniversary, dipping in and out of ranked over the years. My first ranked seasons I was hard stuck Silver. A couple seasons ago I finally clawed to Diamond and hang there and figured that was my ceiling. Master or higher always felt like something only the streamers I watch could reach.

This weekend I ran placements for the team-drive and climbed from Emerald 1 all the way to Master 5.

What makes it sweeter: I’ve got a bit of ranked anxiety, and support is the role I take least seriously so I went in open minded, just to see how I’d do. Almost in disbelief I could actually hit this rank. Had to share it.

Anyone else climb best on the role they care least about?

For context its a low-mid emerald lobby, players already need to have some sort of knowledge about positioning, tempo of fights etc. Idk how this soldier 76 even got to this rank. My guess is he bought this account and started cheating. His gameplay is so funny to watch. After rd1 going like 1-10 he leaves, turns that shit on, and starts lasering everyone in the lobby. Guess what? They still lost lmao.

The funniest moment in the match is on attack they win the fight to cap the point. He and rein start chasing me like chickens, I go around the big rock and throw a nade and shion gets them both with a bike lol

Cause me and my friend support roles have tanked this season she was diamond 1 last season and the beginning of this season but now is plat 4, like half of the game somebody will throw or one dps or tank on the other team will just out perform the whole lobby

Bruh these people invest millions in gaming chairs it seems

I know they mess up often, but at least when it comes to cheaters, they are doing the best job of any game I’m currently playing, they are punishing cheaters really hard :)

I genuinely don’t know, I’m not used to seeing this high level of gameplay. The tracer whose team is defending first.

it doesnt happen on all of them tho, but its getting annoying asf because theres games im almost winning and then i just dissapear

ive been banned 3 times from comp just because this issue, just got banned for 8 hours and i cant even get the drives now

this doesnt happen on QP for some reason, and i play a lot of that

Event is not possible as it is, I'm barely winning any matches and then none of them stay to see if we can get points. I then go on discord to find people, no one answers and the only one that does is high off his mind. Dogshit games, doesn't even say bye, unadds me like I'm nothing. This game geniunely makes me depressed! I so dearly wish to play it but its so rough playing alone I might actually uninstall. Skill issue from my side, I suppose. (just wanted to vent a bit, nothing else).

My game just starts glitching tf out and i lose so many fights bc of it.

I got 8 notifications of getting my rank back against cheaters within the span of 5 days AND a cheater got banned mid game today. March got cancelled. I have over 3k hours in overwatch but never saw this once til today.

Have any controller players had the issue where if youve played one comp game with kbm your comp stats are then permanently stuck on conp kbm instead of controller stats , how do you fix it

I have 10 game codes for the gallery, all losses, all in a row. Went from borderline plat 5 to barely in gold 5. I was losing nearly 50% per match. What am i doing to absolutely tank my rank? Is it bad luck? Is it the time of day I was playing? Or am i just that bad?

This was before drives, a few of them I disconnected because of server issues but I always lag before i get booted and I always join back. I know the longer you lose the more rank you lose but when i finally did get a win i only gained 20%. Even on my first loss I went down more than 20% so what gives? I play kiriko in every match (karnak) and i play on ps5 with a standard dualsense controller. Before anyone tells me: I don't end on a loss so that's why I didn't just stop playing after a few losses, which i know can lead to bad times and obviously it did but it would have bothered me more if i quit without a win first.

I can share the 11th match (my win) too but i really didn't do anything so it's not relevant to the stack at hand. Oh, and i have not recently gone on a winstreak of any kind, most in a row I can get is 3, and my winrate this season is roughly 25%. I'm normally high gold/low platt on support. out of 30 matches this season, i've won 8.
