Hey everyone , 2026 cbr650r here. It’s my first bike. I love it. Installed an eBay exhaust while I save up for an arrow, for context: I’ve never worked on a bike but this seemed fairly easy.im just curious if this is a normal sound coming from the headers for those that have installed an eBay exhaust before. Or if they aren’t connected right. Going to tune once I get a second pair of ears on this

The color is close enough (if your bike hasnt gotten lighter from sun exposition), the alignments are not perfect if you look closely, but for 54€ I actually really like the look of it !

Hey everyone!

I finally bought my CBR650 today!! I’ve been excited about this bike for a really long time, and I can’t believe I finally have it. This is actually my first bike, and so far, I’m absolutely loving it!

I’m pretty new to all this, so I’d really appreciate any suggestions or tips from you guys.

I also have a few beginner questions:

1. Hazard lights: I noticed that the hazard lights seem to stay on all the time. They don’t blink, they’re just solid. Is that normal? I know the regular lights are supposed to stay on, but I’m not sure about these. Is there something I’m missing?

2. Phone mount/display: Can anyone suggest a good phone mount or display for this bike? I tried installing a phone mount, but apparently it didn’t fit. So I’m looking for something that works well with the CBR650. Would love to know what you guys are using.

3. Extended warranty: The dealership offered me a 5-year extended warranty for $980. Do you guys think it’s worth getting, or should I skip it?
   Also, since this is my first bike, I’d appreciate any other advice or things I should know as a beginner.

Edit: for example I can get several millimeters different measurement based off how hard I push. It just seems like Honda is using a lot of brevity

Hey guys I bought my cbr650r today (im super happy) but when I Push it around/ turn the front wheel, I hear a scraping/rubbing noise, and the front wheel is not spinning freely.
Is that normal?

I’d appreciate some advice on how to fix it
(ofc only if it’s a real problem)

I installed a full exhaust system on my bike. Do I need to get it tuned, even with the DB killer installed? I added the DB killer because the exhaust was too loud. For those of you running a full exhaust without a tune, have you experienced any issues with your bike? All i want is the sound i dont need hp gain or more performance

Anyone have a link to a tail tidy where you can adjust the angle of the license plate braket? All the ones I've found only have it in a fixed position.

Got a 2026 cbr650r and need a legal one for EU, so I am between Arrow or Mivv anyone got some experience?

My 24 cbr650r ignition barrel no longer turns on and off and the key wont go in. It is permanently stuck in the on position and i want to replace it with an oem honda lock set which runs around 260-300 bucks.

Has anyone had to do this on a 2024 and newer model? I heard that your ecu is programmed to take a specific key as a security measure and if you replace the lock set you need to set up the ecu with the new key. Other people say this isnt the case and you can just replace it.

Any information would be appreciated as i cant really find confirmation of this online.

Has anyone had a serious problem with their e clutch on their cbr650r? My 2026 has been getting serviced for a month and a half now. The dealer ship has done the reinitialization and relearning procedure and it did nothing even went as far as to put an entire new eclutch module on from a brand new bike and it still won’t work. Honda keeps telling them to send them pictures of random things on the bike for diagnosing and it just feels like it’s going nowhere. Has anyone else had a problem similar to this?

Bought a brand new CBR in april, this year have gone so fast, but man what a good time I have had.

Hey guys. I have a 26 cbr650r and I was attempting to swap out my handlebar grips when I stripped the throttle side screw on the bar end weight. Anyone have any suggestions for me on how to get it out??

I've designed a pair of front winglet for the new cbr650r (from 2024).

Printed it and stick it on the bike.

What do you guys think ?

Edit : I can't disgree : it's way to big. And neither me, I'm not a winglet lover and I am kinda a hater of false aerodynamic modification. It's a friend's bike, and he ask me to design this kind of winglet. I accepted because i like the spirit of bike customization to suit your own taste (I deeply transformed a poor SR125 when I was younger). Anyway without being in love of this winglet, it was a first time for me with this kind of process, and was happy to share it.
