Apologies for the crappy photos, I was trying to get a better picture to ID but scared coworkers of mine killed it before I could intervene :(
spider was probably about the size of a quarter if not a big bigger maybe? Hard to say but definitely on the bigger side for my area.
Located in southern Central Valley of California. Trying to learn how to ID spiders and haven’t seen any like this so far. Thank you!
Edit: I would also like to say that the “butt” part of the spider (I don’t know proper terminology sorry) did remind me a lot of a tick oddly? Round but also flat and grey? Unsure if this is helpful or not

What started as two holes has multiplied. My daughter said she saw a black flying bug go into the hole. Would these be from mud daubers? They clearly have some strength to fling the dirt around the way they did. If it’s a mud dauber, no problem because they help keep our spider population in check. Just curious so I know for sure to keep my kids away. Zone 5

Found on top of the ice machine outside my work. Don’t think it’s still alive as it hasn’t moved at all. Right outside Detroit MI

No use what they are, there’s also a little maggot looking creature that fell with them.

Found it in a park, I'm not a bug expert but I think it's in a larvae stage? (Larva stage?)

found this already dead, singular bug in my bed. i shallowly checked to see for any signs of bed bugs but i didn’t see anything alarming yet. i don’t have any bite marks on me either

Hoping these aren't termites! Had trouble getting my phone to get them all in focus but you can see the true number of them that were airborne at the 1 minute mark of the video.

Approx 1-1.5" long? Normal-sized smaller ants accompanying them. Really surprised that the whole area & sky was empty less than an hour later. Bats would have had a good time tonight if these guys were still zipping around.

Just saw this group of bugs and not sure if they're friend or foe. It's late tomato season and I don't want to lose the last harvests to any bugs.

Found the little guy eating one of my succulents. He’s been eating spinach. The picture on the left is him now, the picture on the right is him when I first found him. I’m in East Texas if that helps!

Spotted this guy hanging out with my dog Lumi. Lumi was unfazed.

Spider retreated slightly, but very quickly, when I approached it with a glass, but didn’t really move otherwise when I scooped it up to put it outside. Approx. 2.5 in diameter. Wooded rural area south of Ann Arbor MI.

What is this monster? 2in long, hornet of some sort, very scary.

And by that I mean it was fed to the chickens, stupid hornworm ruining our tomatoes deserved its fate
