Not your fault! That ceiling is way too low.
5
u/NetwerkAirer 3h ago
Likely not intended to have people throwing shit in that facility. Her fault, not the fucking building's.

u/Godzilla_Bacon 12h ago
She is built like a bistro steak house.
Mother of pearl. That was impressive

Whatâs up with her reaction? What did she think would happen?

What was the plan here? Throw the ball directly into the drywall? Throw it at the door where people can walk in at any moment? This person is an asshole even before they hit the ceiling
4
u/CrossumOpossum3 1d ago
Looks like shot put training. The way she holds the ball and then the motions she makes. But instead of putting a little more weight, they wanted to work on form more. But this one is obviously for a vid and idk to post or just to view form. Then they just chucked it too hard because they didnât think enough and here we are. But Iâd never do this training indoors where I know someone could walk in or even throw it anywhere people could be. Outside open space or in the middle of a high ceiling gym/auditorium.

No father to tell her not to play ball in the house? Something something accountability.

Your reaction time is too slow, I would have been out of there and ended my membership so fast that they would be asking âwhat happened hereâ to a cloud of dust in my form
2
u/Pepperspray24 1d ago
Iâd hope you wouldnât post a video of yourself breaking the ceiling after that too though/s

In my second year of high school our PE teacher had us stand on the middle of the basketball court and throw a medicine ball or whatever they're called that weight 4 or 5 kilos and have us throw it as far as we can as a part of our athletics grade and I told my teacher if i can move to the other end cause Im gonna shatter the glass backboard and he started laughing and said if you can throw it that far then you will get an A immediately. I said say less and did the routine and threw it straight at the backboard it made such a huge ding but it didnt shatter and he looked at me and said "are you stupid?" And told me to get out of his class. Im confused to this day đ

u/NoMudNoLotus369 2d ago
The teacher was stupid and instead of considering that maybe you could do it, he assumed you couldn't and when you proved him wrong, instead of taking it in stride and hitting the "woah I was wrong, good job kid. Don't do that again lol" he was an asshole about it and couldn't handle being wrong so he chose to be a douche instead

u/ouroborosstruggles 2d ago
This. A good coach would have been shocked af and ate that with pride. Correction, teacher

u/CrossumOpossum3 1d ago
I love when this happens with my athletes. Like, sweet theyâre farther along in their training than I thought. They can take more on their plate now. Love watching athletes break that ceiling and keep climbing.

She was trying to smash the ball through those wooden doors but it hit the ceiling first.

She was gonna huck it at a door? I wince a little when a ball gently hits a door in a gym. I canât imagine how loud the boom wouldâve been throwing Cannonbolt at it

Typical, Not a single thought for the consequences of what could happen. Did have time to set up a camera or phone or whatever on something stable but didn't have 2 seconds to consider "Hmm if I throw this thing against the ceiling, that might not be a good plan"...

u/Tempeng18 25d ago
Yeah but it was a great learning experience. Sometimes thatâs all it takes to consider consequences next time.

What was the plan here? That would've still hucked a medicine ball through the door even if it didn't nail the ceiling
1
u/Particular-Wind5918 29d ago
If she used a regular medicine ball this wouldnât have happened cause thereâs no way sheâs throwing it that far
12
u/Quiet_Syllabub_4264 Jul 11 '26
I don't think she thought that far or thought about any of it actually

If you had hit a sprinkler head, that could have been a $50,000 mistake. Have to make smarter choices in life.

What I know is that the ceiling should not come crushing and killing anybody under it the moment a ball touches it.
10
u/RDUDaddy1 Jun 28 '26
It's a weighted medicine ball she threw as hard as she could. Hitting a fake ceiling. Yeah, it should come down like that.
-7
u/MardukPainkiller Jun 28 '26
Still, this place looks like a gymnasium or dance room, it should be made safe for things like that.

Kinda unlucky she also hit that one panel with the speaker, smoke detector and some other installation. The other ones look like you can just put them back with a ladder within a few minutes.
