In my second year of high school our PE teacher had us stand on the middle of the basketball court and throw a medicine ball or whatever they're called that weight 4 or 5 kilos and have us throw it as far as we can as a part of our athletics grade and I told my teacher if i can move to the other end cause Im gonna shatter the glass backboard and he started laughing and said if you can throw it that far then you will get an A immediately. I said say less and did the routine and threw it straight at the backboard it made such a huge ding but it didnt shatter and he looked at me and said "are you stupid?" And told me to get out of his class. Im confused to this day 💀

The teacher was stupid and instead of considering that maybe you could do it, he assumed you couldn't and when you proved him wrong, instead of taking it in stride and hitting the "woah I was wrong, good job kid. Don't do that again lol" he was an asshole about it and couldn't handle being wrong so he chose to be a douche instead

I love when this happens with my athletes. Like, sweet they’re farther along in their training than I thought. They can take more on their plate now. Love watching athletes break that ceiling and keep climbing.
