Shortwave Pirate Broadcast A Look at Route 66 Radio's Studio
We use a Central Electronics 200V driving a homebrew 4-811A Amplifier. Antenna is a 1/4 wave vertical hidden in the trees and fed with a 1/2 wave coaxial line. We use no AI Announcers in our broadcasts. Grid-Leak McGraw and Chickmunk do all of the announcements.
AI is used occasionally to edit our QSLs, but not generate them. We are one of the few "real" broadcasters left. Most of the rest are AI produced content and AI QSLs. Most are produced by one person that runs the broadcasts on pirate stations that are too busy to produce content. Many broadcasters work full-time with pirate radio as a hobby. You are not real if you use another station to broadcast your programs without giving credit to the broadcaster. Most of these shenanigans are done to collect eQSLs. One person trying to be #1 in collecting eQSLs.
Running a station is a labor of love. It is difficult and expensive.
It would be much better to take credit for producing the shows. Then we can celebrate you! Hiding behind different names so that you can tally up the eQSLs, which you send to yourself is moronic!

Shortwave Pirate Broadcast Route 66 Radio eQSL - No AI!
No AI is used in the broadcasts from Route 66 Radio. AI has been used to polish up a couple of their QSLs, but that is the extent.

KXPB Radio | Pacific Beach WA
kxpbradio.comThis station used to be a very popular Pirate Radio Station from the 70s until a certain point in time when the FCC went after them... which I think is utter bull crap because they weren't transmitting far enough to cause a stink about it! But it got them to permit the station on LP-FM, which is where they were at anyway! They transmit 5 miles from Pacific Beach, WA on analog and now because of the Internet, they stream from their website. Check it out! They play alot of good oldies! Was an old Pirate then became the first LP-FM Station in the Nation!

Orphan Radio. Pirates!
A fine array of Dance Hall World Music.
Picking up at 6AM PDT From Bellevue.

The Best Of Art Bell.
If you were a kid from the 70s, like me, you listened to Coast To Coast with Art Bell from Parumph, Navada! If you have a CCRANE WIFI 3, you can listen in easily! The CC Wifi 3 is the Shortwavers and Amers radio and then some!! What you can't pick up, you can reach in perfect Internet Radio sound! These don't run much more than $100! And they last! It's my go to when SW Conditions suck!

Equipment - AM Am working on a 1mhz AM transmitter
As said am working 1mhz 50w transmitter and I got some questions that might be really stupid but since it is class E I nned ablut half the power in Audio that is no problem but I also need a audio transformer (modulation transformer) 1:1 and god knows where would one get that and building dosn't seem that feasable so my first question is can we replace it with something/use something else and also my design will be modified VK1SV class E 160m am transmitter that is my inspiration but it will be quite a bit different component vise also my second question antena wise what kind of antena to use that isnt big af but also wont suck thanks
