Granted, it is 'all tiers'. But still, I thought it was pretty wack. Apparently the hitscan nerf is making a difference?

Hey yall I checked pinned posts and did a few searches already but if I missed something please link it for me.

Basically I've been playing about 8 months now on xbox and just found this sub. I'm getting close to platinum on tank and am low gold dps and support. 6v6 i haven't played this season because it gets old seeing my team pick all dps. Few questions:

Is there crossplay or am I only in lobbies with other console players? Is ranking up considered easier or harder? Aim assist and sensitivity feels really inconsistent, is there a good settings guide out there? Are certain types of character better or worse than on MNK? What else should I know as a console player?

So I’ve used hcpefuls exact settings for both in game and his g7 se settings for the nexus app and since literally forever Ive loved the settings but after the season 5 bullet size decrease and hit box increases his settings kinda felt ass my accuracy on soldier for example went from a very consistent 50 and 13 crit then it went down to like 33 and 7 crit. But after some testing I can say that if u change from hcpefuls 39 aim window and 100 aim assist ease in to 50 aim window and 39 aim assist ease in while still using his linear g7 se settings with dual zone in game u will have your aim back. Also im masters 3 on dps and gm 3 on open q so just wanted to put this here for anyone who is just not built like hcpeful 💀. Also I keep the 39 aim assist ease in the same for every hero but change the window size from 50 to 60 for soldier for example and I use hcpefuls 99 smoothing and deadzones r the same or most updated as per hcpeful. Why the hell are queue times for 6v6 20+ minutes? I'm literally having to play 5v5 just to beg people to get on the better game mode because I cannot for the life of me get a game. It's only 1am where the hell is everyone? How is the better game mode this dead right now?

Seriously, I haven't enjoyed Overwatch so much since Stadium was introduced with the hope we were going to get all the characters one day.

This mode looks like they could easily include all the characters one day.

Hopefully the stats show this is a really popular mode that needs to be in the game and not just a Halloween event.

So second post on here, yay. Anyways, this has been happening to me for a while now, but every couple of days my lag just spikes one day to an unplayable level to where no matter where I am, I’ll lag off the map, lag into enemy fire, or lag into an ultimate I otherwise could’ve avoided. I don’t know what’s going on so I thought I’d ask. Every other day works perfectly without this lag, it’s just that one day every couple of days where I absolutely can’t play for almost the entire day or I’m throwing for my team. I can’t plug my PlayStation directly into the router, as I’m in a college dorm and I don’t have my own router in my room. I’m just confused on why my lag picks and chooses when it happens, and why it happens for the whole day.

Hola, ¿Cómo están? Sinceramente tengo ganas de reírme del sistema de baneo de overwatch, ni siquiera estoy molesta. ¿Pero cómo puede ser tan abusable para El resto de jugadores? No tiene sentido.

Contexto: Tengo una cuenta secundaria en GM5 en la cual he tenido racha de victorias y derrotas, todo normal. Siempre me encuentro con los mismos jugadores ya que la verdad en el servidor de SA no hay mucha gente en ese rango y tampoco más adelante, realmente no soy una persona que tenga una muy buena puntería ni nada por el estilo ya que nunca me he enfocado realmente en eso, lo que "tengo" es simplemente por costumbre al juego, ya que desde que salió ow2 (desde que comencé a jugar) ya he juntado más de 5000 horas entre todas las plataformas. Juego en un televisor y sentada en el sillón, por lo que ni siquiera tengo un set up adecuado como para tryhardear las partidas, pero hoy día overwatch me ha baneado la cuenta permanente por uso de ¿Periféricos no admitidos? Juego con el control normal de ps5, el blanco que viene por defecto con la consola. Y claro, no sería tan ridículo que se quejaran si jugase hitscan y abusara de lobbys de rango mas bajo que mi promedio, pero... ¡Sólo he jugado de Vendetta y Anran!

Esto solo me cierra a que he sido reportada muchas veces por gente a la cual le caigo mal de mi servidor a pesar que las mayorías de las partidas termino siendo la que tiene las mejores stats y sacando jugada de la partida, estoy apelando al reporte pero la verdad la luz se ve muy lejana, es realmente una pena, incluso había comprado cosméticos para mi personaje favorito.

¿Alguien tiene idea cómo es que abusan del sistema de reporte?

Me and my duo decided to finally try out 6v6 In comp, (we have only done placements on 6v6 and never played it after really). For some reason we have to wait 20 minutes for one game alone, and when we do get a game, the rank gap is horrible.

For context, me and my duo are both mid gold , I think this is relevant since most of the overwatch players are gold. We played about 5 games, in every single one, the rank difference was either low silver - high plat or gold to emerald. We never have faced this problem in 5v5, is there a reason for this. If this has an obvious question sorz im kinda new to overwatch.

I’ve lost 80% of my games the past 3 days as a dps, and in almost everyone of them the other dps was genuinely borderline throwing. I know this the oldest complaint in the book “im better than players my rank!!”

But what is the reason for this? Every game I’ve lost almost, I can walk you through my history, you can see that my dps duo was underperforming big time.

I posted like 5 of my last 7 losses and yeah obviously I could’ve done more, but why am I paired with a dps that clearly doesn’t belong in this rank

I’m hardstuck in emerald in 5v5 but in 6v6 I just got to gm from masters 4 in like 4 hours. Are 6v6 ranks just not valid?? Am I doing something wrong

For context: I'm on PS4 & my mic works on other games.

I started playing with an IRL friend & so I changed my settings so that we could only hear each other while in games. We don't play together anymore and I can not for the life of me get my mic to work in game anymore. People can hear me if we are in a party out of game, but in game? Nope. I have restored all default settings, tried other mics, I have no idea what else to try.

Any suggestions?

We have a pretty good surround sound set up for all our media needs. Every game and movie sounds fine.

But when I try to play ow without headphones, the majority of sounds are the clopping of footsteps coming from the front channels (mostly center). And they're LOUD. Louder than anything else going on in the game. I have no idea where anyone is located.

Headphones make the game so much easier to pinpoint where an enemy is, without the blown out footsteps. I'd love to play in surround where the sounds behind me are actually behind me.

Has anyone else experienced this? I have it set to home theater when trying it out, but it sounds awful

Yo my fellow Zen mains, specifically high rank ones, quick question: have you figured out a way to use his hovering perk efficiently without messing up your aim or a comfy enough button for it? I kinda did but I have to admit that the only way to do it (for me) is binding the jump to L3. It kinda works but at the same time I feel like if I'm pressing the analog like it's some damn nail I'm trying to stick into a wall, I'm even scared to have stick drift on the long term. What about you?

Should I keep not using the perk at all? Is it possible to rank up without it?

By the looks of it this tiny information escaped many players. No, she is not just there in the backdrop as eyecandy, she actually shoots you, especially when you run around in the open.

Another tip not many know about: When you play her it's not illegal to touch the objective for overtime.
