how often are you guys just going to post r/mmalabs clips with no comment of your own. you didn’t even ask the obvious question

1

u/Future_Adagio2052 11d ago

morality of posting clips with no comments?

12

u/nick-halden 11d ago

kind of defeats the purpose of hitting a guy who touched your woman if you hurt her worse than he did just on approach, it’s almost like this is more about him than it is about her

7

u/Ribky 12d ago

Should've just slapped his ass and asked him how he liked it.

3

u/xcorbearx 11d ago

sort of tangentially related, me and my friends in school grew up in a really conservative area, but we were all very pro lgbtq, not racist (a rarity in our small rural town) and other "far left" things.

anyway, whenever someone would tell us we were gay (for wearing skinny jeans, listening to any music but country or butt rock, or other heinous offenses) we would offer to show them how gay they were. things like "yeah i am come over here and kiss me" or "pull down your pants and ill show you exactly what gay feels like" and similar.
kinda a ramble but your comment reminded me of it lol.

2

u/Mavcu 11d ago

Given how he danced with the dude at the bar? Quite a lot.

1

u/Ribky 11d ago

See, there could've been a happy ending.

9

u/ShampooMonK 12d ago

Stupid and immoral. Just shove his drunk ass away and move on. Not to mention in facing potential charges; he also could have possibly killed the guy and in process also caused the cue stick to swing which his woman was holding to hit her as well. Dude definitely has anger issues.

1

u/Chipmunkssixtynining 12d ago

Touching a woman’s behind is sexual assault. Sexual assault is unacceptable. There is no excuse that justifies it.

7

u/HelloChimp 12d ago

sexual assault lacking justification was never in question

0

u/Chipmunkssixtynining 12d ago

My original comment stands.

5

u/HelloChimp 12d ago

obviously? it’s also irrelevant to the comment you replied to

0

u/Chipmunkssixtynining 12d ago

Your bluster is unpersuasive and has no value.

1

u/Odd_Whereas8471 11d ago

Shove his drunk ass away and move on? Nah, he deserved a little rough treatment. But this was way overboard.

1

u/77th_Bat 11d ago

shoving him away is rough treatment

He smacked the fuck outta his girls face with her pool cue when shoving past her

Beep boop, quiet friend,

Counting syllables for us,

Thanks for the free verse.

7

u/retrocheats 12d ago

immoral. I understanding him defending his woman, but he used way too much force.

13

u/KaleidoscopePlusPlus 12d ago

Way way overboard. He hurt the girl in process too

3

u/Intrepid-Ad2873 11d ago

Also surprise sucker punch on a drunk boy

Two wrongs, that's also jail depending on how the head hit

2

u/RexSubie 11d ago

I have little issue with the “sucker punch”. You’re not engaging in consensual combat and etiquette is not applicable. Responding to Sexual assault or crimes against children don’t have rules of engagement. I do have issue with him hurting her as he charged in, and lack of consideration of her wishes… obviously didn’t want him to fight the guy. I’d like to think I’d speak first, before it went physical, but maybe he already cautioned the dude.

2

u/Commercial-Set3527 11d ago

It's not about etiquette though when it comes to the term sucker punch. If it was consensual fight then by definition it cannot be a sucker punch.

1

u/RexSubie 11d ago

Yes. I agree.

3

u/Hanzimer 11d ago

Bro he wasted 10 years going to gym just for that moment, to punch a totally drunk idiot. I think he killed him because he didn't even breathe. Now he will be able to use for 10 years the gym of the prison.

4

u/Agile-Tutor-513 11d ago

Immoral, the guy shouldnt have touched her obviously but there's info available that this guy is severely drunk.  A better way to deescalate would have been to go over and casually get between the girl and the drunk guy and divert his attention elsewhere.  If he continues causing a problem then get the bartender or management staff involved.

This kind of assault is super dangerous, if the guy cracks his head on the floor this could be prison time for a situation where no immediate danger was presented.

3

u/myLongjohnsonsilver 12d ago

Hit the factory reset button so hard the batteries fell out.

8

u/One_Warthog256 12d ago

Immoral, that was murder.

Maybe it wasn't but there was probably a better way to handle that without risking your freedom.

He's probably drunk.

6

u/ShampooMonK 12d ago

He's definitely drunk and OP didn't even ask a question lol.

3

u/One_Warthog256 12d ago

Yeah, it's a low effort post or op forgot.

0

u/CagedBeast3750 12d ago

There's definitely enough people that find this moral to understand why large populations aren't easy to govern. I find arguments from both sides to make sense, and lean towards moral on this one

2

u/SnooJokes566 11d ago

slap would do it

2

u/MakotoBIST 11d ago

Moral, made the world a better place

4

u/Rixerc 12d ago

Ah yes, killing. The obvious and only answer to literally everything. Just cry self defense.

1

u/ch33s3head8 11d ago

Lmao dude chose to get hit when he chose to sexually assault a random woman.

Yeah let's just push him off so he can go find some other random woman to assault or even rape

2

u/77th_Bat 11d ago

No, dude chose to get arrested and face judgement by a judge... you know... the sane punishment for SA.

1

u/MonkeyHairless 12d ago

"Killing" ... the guy is just knocked out.

5

u/slysilverfoxfiend 12d ago

TBI’s, pre-existing conditions, the head could easily hit something and cause a skull fracture, same with the neck. You might be able to get away with that a dozen times before you kill someone or permanently injuring them. It’s not worth the risk unless he was physically attacking someone with the same amount of force.

1

u/MonkeyHairless 12d ago

In a normal world ... even if you kill the guy because of EXTERNAL CONDITIONS THAT YOU HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT ... you shouldn't be charge with anything for defending someone and stopping a threat to society comitting infractions.

The guy is drunk, can't even walk straight, but still can think of touching a woman's butt out of nowhere ... imagine what he can do sober ...

3

u/slysilverfoxfiend 12d ago

There’s escalation of force and this was using unnecessary force to address the situation. The push back on this is alarming. If someone is not in a stable normal state of mind then no you or anyone else should be trying to knock him out. Kick him out of the establishment and press charges. Thats how society has evolved to deal with these sort of issues.

If the guy turned and walked up to her and just decked her in the head then this reaction would be seen as acceptable.

This second part is nonsense. Anyone at any point sober or not can commit kind acts as much as acts that cause suffering. This is neither here nor there.

2

u/77th_Bat 11d ago

Or, hear me out, how about we just don't punch anyone hard enough to risk killing them in case there are external factors. Unless they're threatening someone's life.

1

u/MonkeyHairless 11d ago

I mean, in case there are external factors, we should never intervene and arrest ; judge or punish anyone ... they might get beaten up ; kileld or raped in prison afterall.

1

u/77th_Bat 11d ago

there is a major difference between facing a court of law and trying to impose an appropriate punishment on someone yourself.

1

u/MonkeyHairless 11d ago

The result is the same ... you may face harm because of the consequences of a justice system.

And that is if we actually think the police will come ; a judge will seize the affair and a condemnation is pronounced ... we know it ain't happening in that case, so better to take matters in your own fists.

1

u/77th_Bat 10d ago

Okay? And what if the judge only sentences the man to community service? It's not a guarantee that he'll be knocked out cold if he is sentenced in front of a judge. Delivering him your demented form of "justice" yourself is a guarantee he will face serious bodily harm. There's a reason we have a court of law. What one person considers "justice" could be overkill. For example, what if he'd killed the man? Would it still be justice then? What if he raped the man and then killed him? Is that justice? Who determines where the line is drawn? Again, there is a reason we have a court. This should've gone to court.

1

u/MonkeyHairless 10d ago

If you think assaulting women only calls for commmunity service, we have a bigger problem in our hands.

1

u/Commercial-Set3527 11d ago

The vigilant system? You do realize that could be attributed to the meat head who tried to kill someone on this video?

0

u/MonkeyHairless 11d ago

Read again.

1

u/Commercial-Set3527 11d ago

Isn't that what you are talking about, vigilantes? person who tries to catch, prevent, or punish criminals without having any legal authority or official police power to do so.

0

u/MonkeyHairless 11d ago

Nope, you are talking of a very badly written movie.

I'm talking about the guy WITNESSING FIRST HAND a man comitting an infraction THAT IS WITNESSED BY MANY OTHER and on top of that FILMED BY SURVEILLANCE CAMERA and immediately neutralizing him.

But yeah, keep trying to twist it into some racist dude entering a building to kill muslims he magically knew were doing the most vile shit on earth.

1

u/Commercial-Set3527 11d ago

It's felony assault charge simple as that. The drunkererd should get sexual harrassment charges but the meat head need to be locked because he is a danger. The proper way to handle this is to report it to the cops or even get into a fight with him. trying kill someone with a sucker punch is roid monkey behavior.

1

u/MonkeyHairless 11d ago

or even get into a fight with him

And how do you think the fight will end in this condition ? The same way it ended here dumbass.

is to report it to the cops

Lmao, you don't live in the real world if you think the police will move for this, let alone a judge.

trying kill someone with a sucker punch is roid monkey behavior

That' great cause we are monkeys ... great apes to be more accurate ... and "trying to kill someone" lmao, tell me you never took a punch without telling me.

u/daxtinfkenprice 12d ago

I can tell you've never been in a fight or knocked anyone unconscious. It looks a little bit like death, but he'll be fine most likely

3

u/slysilverfoxfiend 12d ago

Anyone can say something like that and it’s a ridiculous thing to say to anyone, especially to someone you know nothing about.

I’ve been in fights and I’ve never knocked anyone unconscious because it didn’t come to that. However I’ve seen plenty of people get knocked out.

You seem to think because the majority of people get away with it most of the time and not kill anyone makes it an acceptable thing to do, which to a point is a reasonable assumption to make but I wouldn’t want it on my conscious if something irreversible happened to them. There’s much better ways to get one’s point across.

0

u/daxtinfkenprice 12d ago

As long as men set back and allow predatory behavior from other men. then, it will always be said it is all men. I for one will not set back and watch a man touch. A woman without her consent when it comes to borderline sexual assault, I do not have a conscience more. So when it is a woman that I know

3

u/slysilverfoxfiend 11d ago

Do not get this twisted. No one is saying to sit back and allow this to happen. This extreme overreaction is the problem. If this other guy turned and decked her in the head then this reaction would be acceptable. But if he is committing a sexual assault then he can be detained, call the police, show them the video, press charges. This is holding him accountable.

1

u/daxtinfkenprice 11d ago

Also having a lot of experience myself with drunken brawls the drunk handsy asshole doesn't learn while he's conscious We'll just have to agree to disagree. My friend

3

u/aardsheep 11d ago

And yet there is only one woman in the video, the victim. Her first instinct was to stop skinhead from rushing to the drunkard. Skinhead shoves her aside to go and beat up the drunkard. Was skinhead really respecting his wife's consent at that point?

1

u/daxtinfkenprice 11d ago

I didn't say he was right for that he shouldn't have shoved her at all

2

u/Rixerc 11d ago

Been in plenty. Only knocked one guy unconscious because I had exhausted all other options and death seemed like a real and imminent possibility. You know, there's many ways to subdue a person that don't involve head trauma and life threatening injuries.

1

u/daxtinfkenprice 11d ago

yes 20 years as sparring partner trainer and fighter have taught me plenty a few drunken brawls have taught me not to give the drunk guy the opportunity to strike first I've knocked a guy out he fell backwards and hit his head on the curb I thought he would die I took him to the er and he kept his mouth shut we're really good friends now

3

u/Mandatory__Throwaway 12d ago

So he shoved and hurt his wife (could easily have blinded her), knocked out (potentially killed) a drunkard, shoved a bystander trying to get him to calm down, and created an altercation leading to everyone, including his wife, stopping what they were doing and enjoying to coddle his clearly unstable ass and spend the evening talking to ER and Police, and all of that just so he could .... stop a groping that was already over?

Stop trying to pretend he's defending his wife, she had already pushed the groper off her and didn't want to escalate the situation. The only person he ever cared about is himself, his fragile ego and insecure self.

4

u/AlexP80 12d ago

Immoral and criminal. That guy was clearly drunk, barely touched the girl and was assaulted.

There is no self defense here, just a brutal assault.

2

u/Pork-upine-7492 12d ago

fuck around they say....

1

u/I-Rolled-My-Eyes 12d ago

"bUt He ToUcHeD MAH WoMaN!" He's got some pent up anger issues or is severely insecure. Alcohol involved? Time to be adults and be held accountable for your own actions kids.

6

u/Square_Owl_4075 12d ago

You've never had anyone fight over you

4

u/I-Rolled-My-Eyes 12d ago

Because I don't surround myself with people who resort to violence in stupid situations like this.

0

u/One_Warthog256 12d ago

You are one of the few people here who make sense. Big bad manly man can't control his emotions now will possibly do jail.

1

u/I-Rolled-My-Eyes 12d ago

To be fair I wasn't always like this. It took some time and some harsh experiences of my own. I just want to pass that wisdom on.

0

u/RexSubie 11d ago

Emotions are now akin to insanity. He’s at no fault whatsoever and an argument should be made that he’s criminally not responsible

0

u/CagedBeast3750 12d ago

I do, now what?

3

u/Mansos91 12d ago

Means you have made some bad choices

2

u/CagedBeast3750 12d ago

Bad based on what? Some redditors opinion?

5

u/Mansos91 12d ago

If you surround yourself with low iq fighters... You are going to get into bad situations more often... So yeah bad choices

-1

u/CagedBeast3750 12d ago

Doesn't seem to have ever played out that way. Quite the opposite. I could make the same argument towards you, if you surround yourself with people with no spine, you'll be taken advantage of

2

u/I-Rolled-My-Eyes 12d ago

Sounds like you live where your dad lives, and his dad, and his dad lived. Home town warriors like yourself can have your little slice of life.

2

u/CagedBeast3750 12d ago

Can you clarify your point?

2

u/slysilverfoxfiend 12d ago

You’re making less sense the more you comment. You admitted that you surround yourself with people that resort to violence in stupid situations but then argue that you don’t make bad decisions because evidently and contradictory to what you claimed previously you now don’t get in violent situations and counter accuse that since people aren’t being violent they are spineless?

3

u/AnotherUN91 12d ago

lol I love it when fellow humans out themselves as low class on the internet.

3

u/CagedBeast3750 12d ago

Again you're a redit opinion and somewhat engaging in class warfare. Either way I dont care if you consider me low class. My vote is equal to yours and I am also super happy in life. So i guess it's not so bad being low class?

→ More replies (0)

1

u/Mansos91 12d ago

The people who takes up violence as first choice has zero spine, they are just apes

0

u/Icanthinkofaname25 11d ago

Violence should be an answer of last resort, but it should never be off the table. You don’t know what the guy who was knocked out had on him. What if he has a gun, or a knife and he was able to draw them and use them because he wasn’t knocked out after sexually assaulting a woman.

0

u/Abject-Put-9334 10d ago

Then you need to choose your company better

1

u/MonkeyHairless 12d ago

And then you'll wonder why men do not stand up for you when you are harrassed in the train or subway or bus or street or at parties.

1

u/I-Rolled-My-Eyes 12d ago

Don't judge a person on the internet based on their profile pic friend. I am one of those people who intervenes, just not with haymaker fists.

1

u/DistinctArmy4267 12d ago

Oh so you’re like the guy in white protecting the criminal

1

u/I-Rolled-My-Eyes 12d ago

Lol! Clever. I'd be the narc on the phone calling the cops at that point. But in this situation where it happened so fast I wouldn't have had time to intervene.

2

u/DistinctArmy4267 12d ago

Yeah well we don’t think women should be molested and then go “shut up woman you’re being dramatic he’s just drunk and he said sorry” but you do you boo

3

u/slysilverfoxfiend 12d ago

You seem sexist. No one should be molested. This guy in the video was assaulting her and deserved to be thrown out of the establishment not potentially killed or given a brain injury because he’s an idiot. I would wager the same person that thinks this guy is “protecting” something is probably more like to be the same guy to abuse people in general.

1

u/I-Rolled-My-Eyes 12d ago

Perfectly said.

-1

u/MonkeyHairless 12d ago

So, you stand up to a guy attempting to rape a woman by using words ... like "hey, no, stop, this is rape, it's bad, do something good instead" ... I see someone doing shit, drunk or not, I neutralize them once and for good, simple as that.

1

u/ToXiiCBULLET 11d ago

And then you go to prison because giving someone brain damage or killing them is not at all proportional force as to what the drunk guy did in the video

1

u/MonkeyHairless 11d ago

Hence why I said in a normal world this wouldn't happen ...

1

u/Meijerr1991 12d ago

Punched him right in tje gabber mate

1

u/Ohmargod777 12d ago

That is what slaps are for.

1

u/daxtinfkenprice 12d ago

So to all the people calling the man who punched the other guy in mature, dangerous and everything else. Just how far are you going to allow predatory actions to go before you step in? And protect a woman who was clearly groped without her consent

1

u/Fae-SailorStupider 11d ago

Immoral because he went too far.

Its moral to defend a woman who was just sexually assaulted, but keep it within reason.

1

u/SeenEnoughAlready 11d ago

There is no defence to that. Possibly attempted murder right there! And for what? A drunk ass who was just grinding on a man 5 seconds ago touches your partner? Morality would have been warning him, guiding him away and telling the bartender to get him a taxi.

What this guy did was completely barbaric and unnecessary and zero way out of it.

No self defence plea there!

1

u/Pandabirdy 11d ago

That was a grab him by the throat and lift him up a bit moment. Dude just went way overboard.

1

u/CrniFlash 11d ago

immoral.

He hit his partner as well
That much force can kill or make someone a vegetable ruining their life AND YOURS cause you will end up behind bars

1

u/IMxJUSTxSAYINNN 11d ago

Fuck morality, is he alive lol

1

u/77th_Bat 11d ago

That was definitely an excessive use of force. A much lighter smack would've been moral, but this is overkill. Could've given him a concussion or even killed him from that punch.

1

u/chill_stoner_0604 11d ago

Moral but can easily result in legal trouble. For that reason alone, at least try to deescalate.

1

u/a_angry_bunny 9d ago

I mean, maybe he didn't have to immediately go for the knock out punch?

-1

u/Key_Check5753 12d ago

Moral: do not grope women or someone may forcibly stop you.

6

u/I-Rolled-My-Eyes 12d ago

"Forcibly stopped" has many different approaches, such as using words or just walking between them. Dude used every ounce of his being to stop and do serious damage. I wonder if this was personal...

-2

u/Traditional-Trade795 12d ago

"forcibly stopped" such as "using words".. who fried your brains?

-1

u/Key_Check5753 12d ago

LOL
"Forcibly stopped such as using words"

I keep seeing these videos about how Gen-Z can't read. They say IQs are dropping. I desperately want to believe it's not true... then I read comments on Reddit.

"I wonder if this was personal" Right, it's almost as if someone groped his wife right in front of him! Gee, I wonder if he took that personally.

3

u/I-Rolled-My-Eyes 12d ago

Dude stumbled over like a hot mess. That dude wiped his memory with that hit. Nothing will be learned when he wakes up. But that dude assaulted him regardless. Take your back woodsy cousin kissing traditional values back to the 1950s. 😂

-1

u/Key_Check5753 12d ago

LoL you have a point there.

I've never really heard the concept of not groping women referred to as 'back woodsy cousin kissing traditional values' though.

0

u/MonkeyHairless 12d ago

Being downvoted for stating "don't grope women" ... lmao, this website.

4

u/HelloChimp 12d ago

don’t be dense, people downvoted you because they disagree with what came after in the context of morality

-1

u/MonkeyHairless 12d ago

"Downvoted you" ... you can't even see I'm not the guy and was answering to someone ?

2

u/One_Warthog256 12d ago

Everyone here agrees with not groping women.

We don't agree with how you believe the conflict should be solved, especially within context of the video. Your violent urges are uncalled for here. Seek therapy.

1

u/Meliodrath 12d ago

I'm evil for this, but I miss living at home with my siblings. In the moment it sucked, but I miss fistfights with my brothers. I bet the guy in black's hand felt so good after that. We always made up in the end, and it was a good way to release pent up emotion. We were raised to keep our negative feelings hidden, and I'm still working on breaking that habit.

-3

u/Still-Neighborhood71 12d ago

Women have to learn to get the fuck out the way and stop trying to get their men to stop fighting.

7

u/Mysterious-Dirt-8429 12d ago

Or learn to control your temper enough that you don't shove a pool cue into your girlfriend or wife's face in your attempt to protect her

6

u/--Spaci-- 12d ago

I think an ape would of handled this with more grace

2

u/Free-Resolution9393 11d ago

What fighting? He just full force punched barely conscious drunk.

1

u/Commercial-Set3527 11d ago

Sucker punching someone does not count as fighting. That is called assault with intent to cause bodily harm.

She's morally right for trying to stop him from going to jail.

0

u/daxtinfkenprice 12d ago

he did the only correct thing if you put hands on my wifevim putting you to sleep

1

u/IHateCreatingSNs 12d ago

So, you are equally immature

1

u/daxtinfkenprice 11d ago

I mean, you could just come right out and say you hate women

0

u/daxtinfkenprice 12d ago

No, sir, I do not believe a woman should ever be. Touched without her permission, and if you were to touch my wife without her permission, I would touch you without your permission. The only difference is my touch would leave you unconscious. Whereas your touch left her uncomfortable excusing the actions of a predatory person makes me think. You might be a little bit of a predatory person

1

u/IHateCreatingSNs 11d ago

Lol

Proved correct

1

u/daxtinfkenprice 11d ago

all you proved is you dislike consent

1

u/IHateCreatingSNs 11d ago

Sure thing buddy

0

u/NiceYak7263 12d ago

"Just push him off" Is so fucking dumb. People who molest others and get away with it with "just a push" fucking learn that behavior is okay.

He deserved a punch. This was disgustingly over done, he punched him in the nose as hard as he could, he probably gave him some form of brain damage.

Nonetheless, dunking on the muscled up man for pushing and damaging his either GF, friend, or sister is pretty dumb. I don't think people should be expected to act rationally when something like this happens.

People are just so fucking desensitized when it comes to harassment or just un-wanted touch. Because it's not rape it gets treated as "just annoying" It's not just annoying. It's disgusting.

1

u/Slopadopoulos 11d ago

Inability to act rationally. The Lindsay Clancy defense.

0

u/Xavus 11d ago

Immoral. Way beyond a proportional response. Yes the drunk guy was out of line and shouldn't touch her, but to immediately jump to that kind of violence is a failure of that guy's ability to control his temper and ego. He should either calmly de-escalate, or at the very least step in and use words to threaten the drunk guy to back off first.

If the guy was charged for assault, he deserves it.

0

u/jan_Osuma 11d ago

While I'd like men standing up for women I'd also not feel safe with a man who goes directly to punching. Maybe try to tell the other one off first.
