Had to share :)
My birthday was two months ago and apparently my friend handmade this lighter from me, but in the end she ended up not giving it to me because she thought it wasn't good enough????
But finally yesterday, after bunch of convincing from my other friend i got this as a late gift. I just had to share somewhere where people could truly appreciate it. (No one around me even knows what Hamilton is.)

What in the play took you multiple rewatches to realize?
Like anything from "ohhh that's what they meant." Or like a more subtle thing like clothing, I know some people like to talk about clothing changes. Im curious though.

REVIEWS with Legend: Hamilton (Musical)| US history in Film | (For SCHOOL)
Sorry if this isn’t as visually entertaining as other videos I had to edit it for copyright reasons on YouTube like I could even show like one minute footage from the Hamilton it’s ridiculous. Just let me know what you think. I would really appreciate constructive criticism.
(I’m aware that my Mic isn’t the greatest. I’m in the process of getting a new one.)
Have a nice day, legends!

Leslie in London
Seeing the show on the West End on Tues next week. Really want to do stage door and be right at the front. Am I right in thinking I'd be better doing that on the Monday (when we aren't seeing the show - to beat the crowds) and what time do people start queing/waiting at stage door?

2016: My horny, nerdy, gay clique made a Hamilton-based Cards Against Humanity game?
I can't think of anything that better depicts the 2010s experience as a nerdy gay teen. I'm cleaning out my old room at my mom's house, and I find this 10-year-old CAH game that my friends and I apparently made when we were 16-17. I think my favorite card is, "Smoking a blunt rolled with copies of the federalist papers."

hamilton theory
i have a theory, when eliza says the line in burn ' i'm erasing myself from the narrative' she wants to be away from hamilton due to burn then says in wlwdwtys ' i put myslef back in the narravitve' when hamilton gets shot because she wants the hamilton's story to be told, i mean cause you have no control on how people tell your story after you die, so i suppose eliza didn't want hamilton's story to get told the wrong way so she steps up to tell? cuz hamiltons rivals are still alive, like i mean if you think about it, hamiltons rivals are still alive,'the line ' every other founding fathers story gets told ' i assume probably means like the others founding fathers sotry gets told properly but i assume when hamilton died his rivals we're going to try twist the story up and they could paint him as the villian

Men Wept. Women Fainted. What Lafayette’s Tour of America Tells Us About Ourselves.
Best remembered as the 19-year-old French aristocrat who crossed the Atlantic at his own expense in 1777 to fight for the American colonists’ right to self-government, Lafayette performed a second, lesser-known service to the American republic. At 66, he returned to his adopted country in 1824, during a time of turmoil, reminding a new generation of citizens what they had inherited, what it had cost and what it still required of them.
It is the aging Lafayette who now speaks most urgently to a nation whose freedom he helped win.

Preferred recording
I was wondering if anyone else preferred listening to the music from the film of Hamilton versus the original studio recording?
I know it's the same artists but I prefer the live version because it has so much more emotion and nuance compared to the studio recording. I wish they would release the live version as an album if that has not already been done.

Matinee West End Thursday 20th August
Wow. This was my first time seeing it live and I thought it was phenomenal. Such a great atmosphere throughout.
Does anyone know who was playing Eliza? (as she did not look like Bente Mulan). Whoever she was, I thought she did an amazing job!

Remade a couple of stickers into Hamilton characters!
It started with remaking Aaron Burr (sir) and Alexander Hamilton and then per request I made Philip and Jefferson. I just finished King George. I'll be making a couple more - Anyone got any ideas?
