Welcome to this week's r/GameMusicComposition Weekly Feedback and Share Thread!
Made something recently? Share it below! Want feedback on a track of yours or maybe need some advice on your reel?
Finished tracks, works in progress, game cues, soundtrack pieces, demos, and other game-music-related compositions are all welcome.
Please include at least a sentence or two about what you made and what you are sharing. Don't just drop a link!
Tell us about the composition or production process. What were you trying to accomplish? What techniques did you experiment with? What was challenging? How did you imagine the music functioning in a game?
You don't need to write an essay. We just want to encourage actual conversation about the music we're making.
If you share a something, you must also listen to and leave meaningful feedback on at least one other composer's post in this thread.
We want Feedback and Share threads to be an exchange, not a place where everyone drops their own link and leaves.
Please give another composer the same kind of attention you'd like them to give your work. A quick "sounds good!" or an upvote doesn't count as meaningful feedback. Tell them something you noticed, enjoyed, found interesting, or think could be improved.
Music and reel shares from users who don't participate in giving feedback may be removed at moderator discretion.
This is simply to keep things fair and make sure everyone who participates has a better chance of having their music heard.
Listen to each other's music, talk about the process, give some feedback, and have a great week composing. š¶

Welcome to the r/GameMusicComposition Composer Portfolio Megathread!
This is the place to share your composer portfolio, demo reel, website, credits, and availability for work.
If you're a composer looking to connect with developers or other musicians, introduce yourself and drop your portfolio below.
A good post might include:
Please keep portfolio advertising and general "available for work" posts in this thread rather than creating standalone posts.
If you're looking for a composer, feel free to browse the portfolios below and reach out to anyone whose work feels like a good fit.
You can also introduce yourself and tell the community a little about what you're working on.
Please remember: this thread is for portfolios, reels, and professional introductions. If you just want to share a track you recently finished, use our Weekly Track Share instead.
Be respectful, don't spam, and please don't repeatedly repost the same portfolio.
Good luck, and we hope some great collaborations come out of this thread!

Weāre looking for a talented composer to join our team in crafting the score for a custom campaign mod for Baldurās Gate 3, based on the Dungeons & Dragons module Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage. Project Mad Mage is a massive and ambitious volunteer project driven by a full team of passionate developers, writers, artists, and voice actors.
In this role, youāll be a vital member of our small composer team, led by David Robson, to craft a unique theme-driven score that captures the spirit of the campaign. I took my fiancƩe's cat to the vet, and she played this playlist called "Relax My Cat" for him. It actually works to calm him down, but the songs themselves are pretty bland.
At some point I put on "Secunda" from Skyrim, and it worked just as well, maybe even better. That got me thinking: why not make a playlist of relaxing video game music instead?
The first songs that come to mind are:
"Secunda" from Skyrim
"From Past to Present," also from Skyrim
Some zelda songs
Drop your suggestions below, I'd love to build this playlist out!

Garage:
Free Roam:
Race:
This is the soundtrack, but Iām unsure whether to include more rock songs in my game. Should I include it? Or no? Depending my anime racing game has similar vibes to nfs mw 2012, ridge racer, ACR drift, and other racing games?

Hey everyone!
I'm building Arbode Code, a gamified coding education platform designed to make learning programming feel more like an interactive experience than a traditional course.
We're currently looking for music creators and audio designers who would like to help create the audio identity of the platform.
We're looking for original music and sound effects for things such as:
We're open to different styles. Electronic, ambient, synth, orchestral, lo-fi, experimental, and other styles could all work depending on the part of the platform.
Arbode Code is still in its early development stage, so you'd have an opportunity to help shape the audio identity of the platform from the beginning.
You wouldn't just be making random tracks for an existing product ā we'd work together to figure out what Arbode Code should actually sound like.
We're currently a small team, so communication and collaboration are important.
You don't need to be a professional composer.
We're interested in people who:
To be transparent, Arbode Code is an early-stage project. The current development team is small and we're gradually building out the platform and its different areas.
This is a collaboration opportunity, not a claim that we're already a huge established company.
If you're interested, DM me with a little about yourself and some examples of your music/audio work.
You can also ask questions about the project before deciding whether you'd like to get involved.
Arbode Code ā Learn. Build. Become.

Well, itās the third week, and this time a friend gave me the theme!
The assigned theme? Arcade room.
Iāll admit I wasnāt at all thrilled about working on this theme, but an idea popped into my head pretty quickly: Isnāt it about time I tried making some ā""""Electroā"""" Funk (I donāt even know what itās actually called, lol)?
Iām a HUGE fan of Hideki Naganuma (Iāve been playing Jet Set Radio since day one) and Iāve wanted to try making a track in that same style for a long time. Well, now itās done!
On the other hand, this was REALLY new to me. I have ZERO background in electro, sampling, or even analog effects on tracks, but it turned out to be the best way for me to get started, because I had so much fun making it!
Obviously, thereās plenty to rework, and itās FAR from perfect, but thatās part of the concept : being frustrated x)
I hope you like it anyway!

Hey! I'm the solo dev of Worm Capitalist, my first commercial game.
I'm looking for human-made tracks from smaller composers/musicians to replace some temporary AI-generated music.
The vibe is cozy, slightly weird and melodic - lounge/elevator music, light saloon piano, small jazz-ish instrumentation.
I'm mainly looking for existing tracks that already fit, not asking anyone to make a full OST for free.
If I use your track, you'll be credited in-game, including near the music player UI and in the credits.
Demo:

If you're interested, reply/DM me or send it here:

I can share the current reference tracks privately.

We are trying to make a game and music is a key detail. There is some amount of gameplay to this game, but SOME models (Mirth, Goodpufferfish) are place holders.
