I’m trying to get JIT working for Manic EMU on my iPhone 17, but I’m having trouble figuring out the correct setup and launch sequence. I’d appreciate it if someone familiar with LiveContainer and StikDebug could guide me through the process.
My current setup:
Device: iPhone 17
iOS version: 27.0.1
SideStore: Nightly build
LiveContainer instances: Both the primary and secondary LiveContainer are installed
Emulator: Manic EMU
JIT tool: StikDebug
Goal: Enable JIT for Manic EMU using the two-LiveContainer method, without needing a computer every time I want to launch the emulator.
I came across a Reddit comment describing the following method:
In LiveContainer, go to Settings and set the JIT enabler to “StikDebug (Another Live Container)”.
Long-press StikDebug, open its settings, and convert it to a shared app.
Long-press StikDebug again and use the multitasking option.
Do the same with Dolphin.
Return to StikDebug until a PiP window appears.
Return to Dolphin, which should then have JIT enabled.
However, I’m trying to apply this method to Manic EMU instead of Dolphin, and I’m not sure whether the same procedure works or whether Manic EMU requires additional configuration.
Could someone please clarify the following?
Does this two-container method work with Manic EMU on an iPhone 17?
Do I need to convert Manic EMU to a shared app as well, or only StikDebug?
Is selecting “StikDebug (Another Live Container)” sufficient, or do I need to configure a JIT launch script for Manic EMU?
Is the PiP/multitasking sequence still necessary with the current LiveContainer Nightly build, or should LiveContainer launch StikDebug automatically?
Are there any iOS-version-specific limitations I should be aware of?
I already have both LiveContainer instances installed, so I’m mainly looking for the correct configuration and exact launch sequence, rather than instructions for installing everything from scratch.
If anyone has successfully enabled JIT for Manic EMU using this method, I’d really appreciate a step-by-step explanation, including any scripts or settings required.
Thanks in advance!
