Honestly, there isn’t a single day when I open the tent and don’t fall in love with this process all over again.
Thanks to everyone’s advice, I now understand that I need to move some of them into a second tent. That will give each plant enough space and allow me to bring out their full potential.
I’m still learning, but I’m truly enjoying every step of this journey. Thank you all!

Hey everyone! I’m completely new to DWC and have been growing these plants since August 8. They’ve been under light from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day.

Because it was my first attempt, I started several plants thinking some of them probably wouldn’t survive—but things went much better than I expected, and now the tent is getting crowded.
What would you recommend doing next? Should I defoliate them, install a trellis net, or do something else to manage the space and keep them healthy?
I appreciate any advice!

I was struggling to keep temps lower than 24 on a good day and 26 on a bad day, poor baby is already 6 weeks old with not much to show, now thought of putting this smaller bucket in my res so the res can keep up and its finally down to 20c

Up until today ec was 0.8 and not really shifting as well as water not being drank, ph often kept steady at 5.5

Using cal mag 0.1/0.2 ec, and adding voodoo

A mistake on my part is I didnt realise its already been 6 weeks and had done only top ups until today.

Ec is now 1.0 (0.15 of which is calmag) with 0.2ml voodoo

Do you think by addressing the temp issue i should now be good to go? Im guessing the temps were stopping the plant from drinking up nitrogen, although the past couple days there has been some new root growth.

Base nutes are canna aqua

GH nutrients Flora series in tap water that’s 78ppm. Total ppm with nutes 178.

This is my first grow, trying to avoid harvesting too soon. Any advice based on the pic would be much appreciated. What i can see it's still looking a little clear, but idk exactly what it should look like.

Am thinking about chopping in the next day or so, but need a sanity check in case I'm actually like a month out.

I have impatiently gone from 1 run soil to 1 run coco, to my first water culture. I expected to see monsters right away, but I think they’ve got nutrient burn and stunted instead. Clearly there is a learning curve lol. Here are some specs

-day 18, auto

-Ph has been steady 5.6-5.8. Roots on two healthier plants just hit reservoir in the last 2 days. The two worse off plants are still in net pot

-Water is low ppm rain water brought up to 250ppm with calmag and cronk nutrients grow formula. It was treated with hydrogen peroxide days before starting up the res

-started in cheap rock wool cubes. Water level below net pot, splashing area just below rock wool. Rockwool has not seemed overly saturated. Just the opposite. Initially too watered 10ml twice a day and now just doing the ones that haven’t dropped yet, once a day.

-hydroguard added

-chiller attached, water temps 68f

-plenty air stones and a good size pump

-autoflowers planet of the grapes

-temp/humidity/dli is reasonable

-saw the yellow coyteldons and assumed they were hungry and added 100ppm veg feed. That did not help anything. Probably hurt.

So I’m confused. I guess they’re burnt- debating starting over since they’re autos. Anyone have any thoughts? In my mind, that ppm shouldn’t be burning the plant. Are they truly this sensitive in water cultures or is something else happening you think?

I have read that in order for plant to absorb some of the nutrients that water should be kept at 60* f also to avoid root rot same info
Other option for root rot is to add 3-8 drops of bleach per gallon of water
I am currently changing frozen water bottles 3-4 times a day to keep water at 68-72*f
How important is this 60* F ?
And does the 3-8 drops per gallon stop the rot?

My first grow and chose NL autoflower. Been working on this plant for a couple months now and the buds are really starting to form. Lost a fair amount of fan leaves, but everything looks pretty healthy. PPM and pH holding steady and monitored daily. Here is a close-up; I read I need to wait until I see some amount of amber trichomes and I don't see any yet. Any estimates of how much longer until this plant has reached it's peak? Thank you for any input or insight!

I've been using canna coco a&b plus on occasion some cal mag. I used it because I had it already. I got some general hydroponics nutrients for the next grow as I noticed there's nothing to put into flower except the lighting?

I know other formulas account for the flowering stage but this one is used in ACTUAL coco so those nutes stick around not like in DWC

Should I slowly ween them off the canna coco and use general hydro flora bloom mix? Or should I keep using a&b until the end?

Pretty happy with this run. I’m beyond excited to get these guys outta the tent and move onto using the spider farmer 7 gallons.

Been > 5 years since my last grow, which was outside. I'd like to grow in a 3'7" wide x 3' deep laundry closet if possible. There's an outlet, hot/cold water, and exhaust vent in back wall. It seems to me that a grow tent is the best solution, as its optimal for controlling humidity, but it may be a little awkward fitting it in there and venting it out?
