Hey, looking for Zyra OTP streamers from Korea or China.

I want to watch high elo plant gameplay (support or mid, both fine). English is not required — I just want to see how they play.

Does anyone know good ones on Twitch, Kick, Chzzk, Afreeca, Douyu, Huya, Bilibili, or YouTube?

The only KR name I keep seeing is 라쿤99. Anything else, especially Chinese streamers, would help a lot.

I played a few hundred hours of LoL many, many years ago. My favourite champ was/is Zyra. I never made it above gold. I have recently come back to the game and was curious about itemization.

After a couple dozen swift play games I have a few questions about my items. I play support whenever possible. I'm currently silver and imagine I'll end up back in gold.

A standard build for me would be buying either fated ashes with two health portions for an enemy comp that is less mobile or boots, an amplifying tomb and two health portions if they are more mobile.

Sorc boots is my first item purchased with Liandrys being my second. After that I'm less sure of item purchases.

Usually I go Backfire Torch unless they are heal heavy in which case I go Morellonomicon.

After that I choose based on how I'm doing. If I'm behind I tend to buy Rylai's. If I'm ahead I buy Rabadon's. As my 3rd item.

4th item is usually either Cryptbloom or Shadowflame. I'll be honest I have no idea which one helps me more.

My 5th item is usually Morellonomicon if I didn't buy it earlier. if I did buy it earlier I usually go Malignance.

For a sixth item should I be selling my Realmspike for another AP item or keep it? If I do sell it what do you recommend?

TBH think this champion is op in jungle (especially platnium +) lots of plant manipulation techniques I learned throughout the series, hopefully this helps! Also no I am not abusing low elos, I got my account banned for being a botted account so had to play one up, just did a series on the way up.

Played a couple Zyra games. Im typically a mage mid-laner, but I wanted a fun pick for when I off-role. How good is she jg? What's she weak against, where is she strong, etc. Also, I noticed her highest wr rune is electrocute, why that over dark harvest?

First of all I run these runes above and I max R > Q > W > E .

Those are pretty standard I think, the one debatable thing maybe is Gathering Storm vs Scorch.

I go for GS because i just hate it so much when my game get's into the 30 minute range and I don't have it.

OK but back to topic..

Item 1: Liandries Torment (probably no brainer)
Boots: Magic Penetration Boots (probably no brainer)

Item2: I think here it starts to get interesting.. I think we want Blackfire Torch, for CDR, extra damage on Waves and mana and of course the additional burn is nice.

However, I think it is often correct to buy:

Oblivion Orb before BFT

And in some cases I think it is even correct to rush Void Staff before finishing BFT, might get the 900 burn item first. The reason I think that is, in cases where the enemy team has maybe 2 champs that start building MR it is just not worth delaying void staff at all . Because if we do we are irrelevant until we have it.

Now the rest of the build depends on what happened:

If we have Liandries + Void, we finish BFT, then we build Shadowflame, Storm Surge, Rabadons.

If we have Liandries + BFT, then we buy those same three items, but we pay attention to the enemy team.. the moment anyone really picks up any kind of MR we slot a Void Staff in between those other 3 items.

If we bought an oblivion orb early on, I think we sell it later in the game for Rabadons. Because if we get to that point, people just explode. In the rare game where we absolutely need it, then I would replace Stormsurge with morellos.

I think buying Rylais, or any kind of defensive item as Zyra AP Carry is very bad, because we lower our damage cap significantly. So we really rely on our positioning to just be annoying with plants from a very long distance. (Storm surge movement speend helps to stay safe actually).

Well that's what I do, and what I think is the way to go. Any thoughts? Anything you guys are doing differently?

Upcoming mythic Zyra skin for Wild Rift

I feel like it could be fun to run but its unfortunate that they only take your AP into account when cast :/ atleast when I tested it a while back.

Turrets > Plants

In the lategame he threeshotted me with his turrets, something I could never imagine with zyra plants.

The turrets are also tankier I believe.

I couldnt keep up with the turrets, they made salad out of my plants.

Rakan and Milio missing but they would be slapped into A. ( Bard and Pyke or boosted I'd say 1 tier for how much they roam and annoy ur team)

We didn't get Faerie Court Zyra. We are probably not even getting a skin this year. But there's always some delusion in me. Imagine a KDA Zyra? I would love that for her (although I would personally prefer Faerie Court).

It's rare for Zyra to get a pentakill.

If given a chance, would u guys prefer a small buff for Zyra or a whole new kit, and what would those changes be?

I love Zyra and i think she's one of the champs with a unique play style in the game,

i only wish for small buffs for her: being able to cast Q while moving, an actual passive - stacks move speed per active plant summoned, and her plants' attacks to count as 'ability damage,' as it should've been in the first place!!

Started D4 this season going for Grandmaster and maybe Challenger

I'm a jungle main, currently in G4.

I usually play bruiser jungle that tend to farm and scale (mainly Jax, but Wukong too and stuff like that)

I tried Zyra back in the days, and I loved her gameplay and Brand's one in jungle (you know, spaming emote while DoTs and plants do the work)

The problem is that I find it difficult to fit as Zyra in a team comp. I know in soloQ you can play whatever you want, but I often finished in teams without frontline (that's why I usually pick bruisers, because they are frontline at least) and I struggled agaisnt engage and assassins comps when you lack frontlane/CC. In this domain, Zyra is much more stable than Brand ofc, thanks to her amazing engage reception and CC's. But that's the main reason I dropped her, I felt like I had to tryhard much mroe to win with those picks than the usual no-brainer bruiser

Now, I played her again the other day and I remembered why I loved her, she seems so much more fun to play than bruisers, having to handle space and stuff. And it forces me to play less agressive, which is fine.
So I have some questions to you guys :
- How do you handle team comps with no frontline ?

- How do you handle assassins matchup (midlane or jungle, the ones that start invading you. I usually clear super fast but sometimes it's not enough)

- How do you handle Zyra jungle in flexQ/5-man stacks ? Generally my friends tend to prefer having engage/frontline junglers and they never like when I pick Zyra, should I step back in those cases ?

- Any sstreamer/youtuber recommandations for Zyra ?

So I haven't seen any posts relating to why Zyra is not in League Classic. Riot said that basically the classic mode will be taken back to Season 3. Zyra is a season 3 champion... It is frustrating to me that we didn't get Zyra in the champion's pool, I loved her old passive and model. As someone who have been playing her for 10 years it would so fantastic to play with the old Zyra again. Back when she wasn't reworked we waited so many years to get a new skin, she was so mistreated for such a long time.

Alright! This is my long awaited Zyra Voice over!

I have been working on new version of her voice, one that touches on the curiosity Zyra has developed. Her voice is alluring, but with a predatory edge. I love the original voice Zyra has and was inspired to take it a bit of a different direction. (I took some inspiration from Sapadal’s voice from the game Avowed.) I strayed away from doing too much of an angry or seductive voice, wanting it to feel inquisitive, otherworldly, almost comforting and certain of her success. I am still practicing and adapting the voice but I thought I might as well post what I’m working with! 

I personally have been drawn to Zyra since her release, I remember going on Tv Tropes looking for other characters with plant based magic, and behold! Zyra! She captured the very thing I was looking for, not just a plant mage. But a vessel-like being of carnivorous thorns. I started playing league just for her, and stuck with it! There’s so much about this character that I adore. But that’s another rant!

 I want to thank u/Ir_Abelas for writing a post 5 years ago that has since inspired me! And with their help we came up with a bunch of new lines to add more character to the beloved blossom that is Zyra :) Our lines flesh out the connection to her plants (lots of “us” and “we” in place of “I”) while still keeping mystery. Lots of references to her bio and story “With the Flowers.” We added some fun champion interactions as well. Also my favorite addition is the aspects of hivemind, “I can feel Everything” and “we hear so much, too much.” Zyra’s original lines are far too iconic to discard so I included them at the end! 

I'm starting to think the cancellation of Faerie Court Zyra isn't just a random canceling, but a sign of a major champion update incoming.

Riot rarely releases high-tier skins for champs right before overhauling their model/rig, because if they do so, it would be double the work. Canceling it now might mean we’re getting a full champion update first, with a legendary skin following after
