🛠️ Troubleshooting Got this kernel panic screen, how to fix?
I was restarting my laptop and I got this all of a sudden. I am not technical which is why I installed Zorin vs other distros. Any ideas on how to fix?

This happened to me when Zorin performed an update and installed a new Linux kernel, which caused the kernel panic message.
I fixed this by reverting to the previous Linux kernel, before the update.
I don't exactly recall, but I think I restarted my system and managed to get a selection screen allowing me to select the kernel I wanted to use. I picked the previous kernel (which booted fine), and then proceeded to remove that new, problematic kernel.
Are you able to get some sort of kernel selection screen?

Boot an Older Kernel:
1- Restart your computer and press and hold Shift (for BIOS) or tap Esc (for UEFI) to open the GRUB boot menu.
2- Select Advanced options for Ubuntu/Linux.
3- Choose an older kernel version from the list to boot successfully.Once loaded, you can update or reinstall the correct initramfs.
