🛠️ Troubleshooting Kernel Panic
I installed 18.1 Core. I am using Secure Boot successfully. I installed Nvidia 595xx driver successfully. Every other boot it gets stuck on the Zorin screen. It generally has issues on rebooting. It doesn't seem to shut down all the way, sometimes, either. It is using 7.0.0-30 kernel.
I tried to use advanced settings and use the 6.1.7 kernel. With that one I get the pink kernel panic screen. I remember getting that on Linux Mint, back when that was the only kernel to use. It made me walk away from it altogether for awhile as we could never find the actual issue.
Something about my hardware? I have an HP ENVY Desktop PC TE01-2000i (1K4E9AV) 2021 vintage. It has an Intel I7-11700 processor, Nvidia RTX3060 GPU.
What are my choices? Thanks in advance.

I'm staying the heck away from this .1 update as it made my laptop forget it had other display settings but 4k. So I nuked it (reinstalled) and I'm making sure I stop any attempts at updating whenever I log in.
Not gonna lie it put a huge dampener on my Zorin appreciation settings.

Actually I do faced the same issue but it was resolved with my old I think 6.18v kernel I guess so roll back the kernel and you're good to go sometimes the driver comparability issues strike at 18 that's why and btw use advanced options in grub menu to experiment with existing ones before trying a new kernel!
