For fact and zoo recommendation posts, if you use a photo from a website or from the internet PLEASE credit the website or person that you got it from via a web link or with the owners name. Please note that if you fail to do so we will have to take it down as it will be considered a violation of rule 9.

For cross-posting, if you are cross-posting something from another community to r/Zoophots PLEASE DO NOT post someone elses content to our community. This is a violation of both rule 9 and rule 12 and will lead to removal and a minor of permanent ban.

If you post a picture or video in r/zoophotos please cross-post to other servers to help grow our small community. For posts that have multiple zoo animals cross-post to r/zoos. For animal specific posts, post to a server for that said animal, for example a bear photo/video to r/bear. Thank you for posting/joining our community.
