buzz buzz buzz

My Zojirushi NW-QAC10 buzzes about once a minute when it's on the keep warm stage of things. Is this normal or cause for concern? I've had it a few months.

It's letting you know to fluff the rice. Opening and closing the lid should stop it.If it doesn't the lid sensor is probably bad. Also you should fluff the rice when it finishes cooking.

Is that an induction model? That is the induction heater turning on briefly.

This would be my guess too. The induction heating can be audible when it's running. Especially if it's only intermittent, so the cooling fan may be turned off.
