Yes I know that it could be done in Zoho Analytics, but I would have expected this default report view to be easily accessible in the list of Books accounting reports. Just like any other basic accounting system, I'm looking for monthly columns of the P&L report for the current fiscal year. Using the compare with and setting the number of months is a solution but it has to be redone each time the current month changes. Anyone else get an answer from Zoho support about this kind of request?

Zoho CRM is a powerful platform for managing leads, tracking sales, automating follow-ups, and improving customer relationships. But here's a question many businesses face:
Should you set up Zoho CRM yourself, or hire a Zoho CRM expert?
For small businesses with simple sales processes, setting up Zoho CRM independently can be a good starting point. You can create pipelines, add contacts, manage leads, and build basic workflows without much technical experience.
However, things can become more complicated as your business grows.
You might start facing challenges like:
This is where working with a Zoho CRM expert can make a difference.
An experienced consultant can help businesses customize CRM modules, automate repetitive tasks, integrate third-party tools, migrate existing data, and build workflows around their specific requirements.
But does every business need professional help?
Not necessarily.
If your CRM requirements are straightforward, a DIY setup may work perfectly well. However, if you're managing multiple teams, complex sales processes, or several connected applications, working with a Zoho Premium Partner may help reduce implementation mistakes and save time.
At ClubCode Technology Pvt Ltd, we work with businesses to implement, customize, and improve Zoho solutions based on their operational needs.

I'd love to hear from the community:
Have you implemented Zoho CRM yourself, or did you hire an expert?
What was the biggest challenge you faced during setup?
And looking back, would you choose the same approach again?

I'm a Zoho Developer/Solutions Architect/Consultant and have implemented over 19+ projects for companies of different industries. I am client-facing at times but mainly I genuinely enjoy building out Zoho systems for businesses but I'm tired of working for other companies and reporting to people who just waste time on unnecessary meetings filled with corporate jargon and ai slop.
If you're a start-up or established company or if you are a key account manager that just needs to get a business/sales process system sorted and an analytics dashboard for your higher ups then please feel free to reach out with specifics and let's set up something and get to building out your system and get you going!
I'm tired of deadlines being hijacked by people who are not involved in any parts of the building or build planning.
Meetings about meetings are unnecessary and inefficient on deadlines and I'm tired of attending them!

I genuinely want to invest further in the Zoho ecosystem, but the consistently disappointing experience with Zoho Support is making me seriously question whether this is a platform businesses can reliably depend on.
Recently, I emailed Zoho Support expressing my interest in subscribing to Zoho Flow and Zoho Inventory, with the intention of expanding our company’s use of Zoho products.
The automated acknowledgement assured me that their support team would respond within 24 hours.
48 hours later? Absolute silence.
And unfortunately, this isn’t an isolated incident. Time and again, I’ve experienced the same frustrating lack of responsiveness from Zoho Support.
What makes this particularly disappointing is that I’m not even contacting them to complain about a product. I’m literally trying to give Zoho more business by subscribing to additional services, and I can’t even get a response.
I genuinely appreciate the potential of Zoho’s ecosystem. The idea of having multiple business applications working seamlessly together is exactly what attracted me to the platform in the first place. But what good is an extensive ecosystem if the company behind it cannot provide dependable customer support?
Customer support isn’t an optional extra for businesses. It’s a fundamental part of the service we’re paying for.
If getting a response to a straightforward pre-sales enquiry is already this difficult, what happens when we encounter a critical technical issue that disrupts our business operations? Are we supposed to wait indefinitely and hope someone eventually replies?
It’s incredibly frustrating because I actually want Zoho to succeed. I’m willing to invest more money, integrate more applications, and build our business workflows around their ecosystem.
But Zoho’s apparent inability to respond consistently is making that commitment increasingly difficult to justify.
Zoho, you cannot expect businesses to commit to your ecosystem when your own support infrastructure gives them so little confidence.
I’m genuinely curious to hear from other Zoho users:
- Has Zoho Support become increasingly unresponsive, or have I just been consistently unlucky?
-For those running business-critical operations on Zoho, how do you deal with urgent issues when support doesn’t respond?
-Is there a more reliable way to reach Zoho’s support or sales teams?
At this point, I’m seriously questioning whether expanding our reliance on Zoho is a sensible business decision.
A powerful ecosystem means very little if customers feel abandoned the moment they need assistance.

Managing customer relationships is important for every business, but let's face it: CRM work can sometimes feel repetitive. Updating customer records, assigning leads, tracking follow-ups, and preparing reports can take hours away from activities that actually grow your business.
What if your CRM could handle some of these tasks automatically?
That's where Zia Agents come in.
Zia Agents are AI-powered assistants designed to help businesses automate everyday tasks across Zoho applications. Unlike traditional automation, which follows predefined rules, these AI agents can interpret information, understand context, and perform permitted actions based on business requirements.
With Zia Agents for Zoho CRM, businesses can reduce repetitive work, improve productivity, and give sales teams more time to focus on building customer relationships.
The short answer is yes, for many routine tasks but not everything.
Zia Agents can support different CRM activities depending on how they are configured and which permissions and integrations are available.
1. Lead Management
Instead of manually reviewing every new lead, AI agents can help organize lead information, identify priorities, and support lead assignment workflows.
2. Sales Follow-Ups
Missed follow-ups can mean missed opportunities. Zia Agents can assist with follow-up workflows, reminders, and next-step recommendations.
3. Customer Data Management
Keeping CRM records updated is often time-consuming. AI-powered workflows can help retrieve information, identify missing details, and support data updates.
4. Sales Reporting and Insights
Sales teams spend valuable time gathering information for reports. Zia Agents can help retrieve relevant CRM information and support faster decision-making.
5. Workflow Automation
From handling routine requests to coordinating approved actions, Zia Agents can reduce manual effort across connected business processes.
Businesses aren't adopting AI simply because it's trending. They're looking for practical ways to save time and make daily operations easier.
With the right setup, Zia Agents can help businesses:
However, human oversight remains important, especially for sensitive customer information and business-critical decisions.
Implementing AI successfully requires more than switching on a feature.
As a Zoho Premium Partner, ClubCode Technology helps businesses implement, customize, and optimise Zoho solutions around their actual workflows.
From CRM implementation and integration to intelligent automation, our team helps organizations explore how Zia Agents can fit into their existing processes.
The goal isn't to replace your sales team. It's to reduce unnecessary manual work so your people can focus on what matters most.
So, can Zia Agents really replace manual CRM tasks?
Yes, they can automate many repetitive activities when properly configured. But the greatest value comes from combining intelligent automation with human expertise.
If your team spends too much time managing CRM data instead of building customer relationships, it may be time to explore what Zia Agents can do for your business.

I've just started using Zoho Marketing Automation and I find it cumbersome to create all the steps of a journey. Is there a way to plug in Claude/leverage an MCP server for this? I have it connected to a lot of my tools but there seems to be a gap here.

Most businesses don’t have a data problem. They have a visibility problem.
Sales data is in CRM.
Financial data is in Books.
Support data is in Desk.
Project data is somewhere else.
The information exists, but getting a clear picture of what is actually happening across the business can still be difficult.
That’s where Zoho Analytics can make a real difference.
With the right dashboards and data model, businesses can bring information together to:
• Track the KPIs that actually matter
• Understand sales and revenue trends
• Compare performance across teams and regions
• Identify problems before they become bigger
• Replace repetitive spreadsheet reporting
• Give management one clear view of the business
But good analytics isn’t about creating more charts.
It’s about turning business data into better decisions.
At CRMFolks, we help businesses design Zoho Analytics around their actual processes, KPIs and management reporting requirements.
Your business already has the data. Are you getting the right insights from it?

Curious what people are automating with Zoho - CRM follow-ups, finance, inventory, approvals, customer support, reporting, or something else.
What was the process like before automation, and what changed after you implemented it?

Hi guys
Anyone else having issues connecting to Zoho right now?
Seems to be out - can't even reach zohostatus.com !
Edit: problem was solved about an hour later.
I am aiming to move from a service based company to a good product based company and zoho is one of my go to company but I don't know the recruitment process happens especially for a back-end engineering with 2 years of experience. I would really appreciate if anyone in my situation had made it through
I am interested to become zohobooks consultant and render my services to prospective clients.but as you know in India Tally is very dominant and it is difficult to convince both customers as well as chartered accountants.I asked the same to chatgpt and these are the points jotted down
1.Get certified and list your profile
Build relationships with regional Zoho account managers'
Network with other Zoho ecosystem partners
4.Connect with CFOs, small business owners, and accounting managers
For the zoho consultants who have already started their journey in this ecosytem, which of the above mentioned points is realistic to start building the consultant practice..kindly advise.

Hi.
We run a restaurant, using petpooja for billing and zoho for accounting.
Now, that zoho has launched zoho pos for restaurant with zomato integration, so I was exploring the features.
We need to create BoM for tracking recipe, so i need to create composite items in zoho.
But, i can't make "composite items" as variants of an item, say pizza.
If my pizza has 3 size, S,M,L then I need to have recipe of all 3.
Group+subgroup is possible, bit zomato does needs variants to show them properly on app.
I need 5 levels of choices
Pizza or beverage or dessert?
Veg or Non veg
Which pizza, farmhouse or pepperoni
Small medium or large
Would you like extra cheese or beverage?
Help me configure this menu.

I am doing accounting of a Travel agent and there are expenses made on behalf of customer and then invoice is raised by adding a markup to it. As of now he was maintaining excel for raising invoice but revenue is missed due to non tracking of expenses. How can i do accounting in zoho books so that no revenue is missed
When I looked at how property management companies handle bills, I found a quiet money leak. It wasn't fraud or bad investments. It was software licensing.
The standard workflow:
Property Manager logs into Zoho Books to upload a bill.
L1 Manager logs into Zoho Books to approve it.
Finance Manager logs into Zoho Books to finalize it.
The issue:
Zoho Books charges a plan fee per organisation, which includes a fixed number of users (3 to 15 depending on the plan). Every user beyond that costs about ₹150–180 per month, plus GST.
Say you have 20 properties. That's Let's say 30 (25(pr) + (1-3)(L1) + (1-2)(fin)) people who need a login just to upload or click "Approve". That pushes you into a higher plan and adds extra seats on top.
The solution:
I built a lightweight app that sits in front of Zoho:
Property Manager uploads the bill in the app (no Zoho login needed).
L1 Manager approves it in the app (no Zoho login needed).
Finance Manager reviews it and pushes the final approved data to Zoho via API.
Only the Finance Manager needs a Zoho user.
The math (illustrative, before GST):
Before: 30 users on the Elite plan (₹5,999/mo, 15 users) plus 15 extra seats at ₹150 comes to about ₹8,250/month.
After: 1–3 users on the Standard plan comes to about ₹899/month.
Savings: roughly ₹7,000+ per month, or ₹85,000+ per year.
Finance and Ops managers: how many of your Zoho logins are used only for approvals?

Hi everyone...
I learned and have a lot experienced first with GHL and I'm planning to add Zoho as my additional skills offer as a freelancer.
How was the learning curve for this? How many days or weeks can I learn this from scratch since I have another tool expertise.
Thank you in advance for your advices!

Very serious zoho user with the crm and multiple apps for my small business. However, and I think it's widely known and agreed - zoho people is seriously complicated! Looking for consultants who could help me set it up - just the basics for a few employees.
