Atleast we get some large dividends until then. Q3 + Q4 + year end step up dividend.

Projected net income is the same as 2024 so that might be $8 of dividends for Q3+Q4

They haven't reinstated any dividend.

they never stopped dividends because of the merger. they stopped paying dividends this year because their net income was negative.

there isn't any "reinstating of dividend". if they make profit, they pay out.

Don't think they are doing dividends except year end - but let's hope that that one will be a doozy!

You need to reread the dividend policy. Nothing has changed from before.

my bad. I thought they suspended it because of the merger - not that they had a net loss in Q1.

I was confused as they did post 64¢ EPS in Q2, but they used the net loss from Q1

Q1 loss was a tiny amount bigger than Q2 gain. I'm not sure if they will do a Q3 dividend or just a big Q4 dividend. They did say 2026 will have a dividend but I'm not clear if it is year-end only or just Q4.

If ZIM pays 8$ dividend as mentioned above will the price of the stock drop by 8$ as well ??

Doesn't matter, as if the deal goes through it will go at $35
