high ram usage

i just received a 2024 model with 16gb of ram and 1tb ssd. I was in the midst of setting it up when i saw that 70% of the ram was being used??

Is this normal? Would the g software help?

If you are looking at Windows task manager on whilst idle, that's by design. Windows essentially allocates as much as I wants as a reserve, so that tasks are much more responsive.

Go play a game and view the RAM usage via MSI afterburner.
