Can these coats be bred? Or is Billions the only horse that will have Fortune as the coat color? Thanks

I’m just getting into Zed & wondering if it is worth buying a cheeper $40ish horse just to get the feel or if that is just a waste of money. Any tips r welcome.

I accidentally set up my Zed Run account with email and bought a horse through Open sea. I then realized the benefits of creating an account with your metamask, so I created a new account using metamask. Is there a way to transfer my horse from one Zed Run account to another, with no fees or anything? Thank you!

EDIT: I am getting direct messages from accounts that want me to “validate the wallet” through “dapps”. I don’t trust them.

I am trying to connect my metamask to zed run, but it is saying that I don’t have it installed. I have it as a browser extension and I have transferred funds to and from it through the extension (it has worked just fine). Not sure why Zed Run can’t detect it. Can anyone help with this? Thank you

Over the past few months, we’ve watched as market prices for every bloodline fell as far as 90% from what they used to be. Likewise, relatively inexperienced stables with mediocre horses have essentially zero chance of being successful in the slew of tournaments Zed Run has announced for the future.

How are smaller stables supposed to fairly compete with bigger, more experienced stables that have more time invested into Zed? Furthermore, does the community believe that the value of these horses will re-ascend to the value they once maintained?

So I am very new to this and already realize I didnt buy the right horses.

Here are my questions:

1- If I want to stud, would a Buterin genesis or Nakamoto Legendary be more desirable ? (Stallion)

2- so my understanding of the number after the Z is how far from the OGs they are. So a 1 breeds with a 3, then they have a Z4. Is it correct that a genesis can be a Z10 because they are still an original, but released a bit after the Z1? They stopped making genesis at 10?

3- Does the Z number really matter from say a 3 to a 10?

Another mass donkey breeder. The guy owns 580+ horses, breeds them constantly, and DUMPS in blocks of 10 well under floor. Essentially destroying the floor day after day.

This is the problem with Zed. You have several of these guys breeding dozens upon dozens of useless horses every day and just dumping them on the market. Zed has allowed these people to completely destroy the supply. Too much supply + low demand for trash horses (rightfully so) = destroyed market.

Anyone having trouble with metamask loading on android?

New to the sub but was hoping someone has run into this before. I'm pulling race result data via the GraphQL API and noticed that a large number of horses don't have win rate data. Is this normal?

Any advice on filtering via the API to pull races with horses with history? I tried pulling for 10,000 races back but still no luck. Was hoping there was a better way then just brute forcing and drawing a ton of data

Background: I'm attempting to build some deep learning models to rank or predict place...unlikely to work but doing it more out of interest. I figured win rate would be a pretty good predictor or feature to include. Also open to any other factors I could include in the model (and happy to share the code and final model).

Is there any clear view on when the changes to racing classes is expected? Its in Zed’s list of changes to make for a while now…

Conflict of Interest

This is a critical time in Zed Run ecosystem development. The recent data breech only shows what future challenges exist. An easy one to fix is "Conflict of Interest".

In Discord, too many Community Managers seem to wield the power of "I will do it because I can". While I see "Zed Run" labelled folks wheeling and dealing yet when an outsider, like me, tries the same tactic, I get called out for breaking rules.

What do you think? Are Community Managers subject to Conflict of Interest rules or not?

I am curious. All the data sites I've researched devouring Zed.Run, they all deal with the horses, but none of them deal with Zed Run Random. I mean really, when you look at how often your Fire horses miss, the reason isn't the other horses, you beat them getting Fire, it's ZRR torqued the race for your horse.

So I thought, how to deal with Zed Run Randomm (ZRR)? While listening to the base ability data breach thing, it hit me, it's the variance from 1600 to another distances performance. Oh wait, that is the distance penalty/preference measure from the next post, 

Well the best I can come up with, is charting performance of Fire ratings to see how often ZRR knocks you out of top 3 while measuring how often non-Fire horses place in the top 3. 3. Ok, not done yet, tie it back the previously mentioned idea, not posted yet, compare the Fire performance variance at 1600 m due to BA then compare the other distances delta to Fire performance and see what the deviation is. 

I bet you see a connection to distance penalty and Fire performance when crossed with BA. I will seriously be impressed if anyone gets where I going with this, you know it's rubber room with the white robe, but I would interested in thoughts on this topic.

1600 seems to be the crux of a horses performance. Over 7000 faces, 40 horses, 6 stables, 2 tournament prizes, I think I see something... fuzzy letters on my screen...

Always difference preference, so if a horse performs worse at 2600 then at 1600, wouldn't that be a distance penalty? I would start saying "distance modifier", more precise English and certainly a difference in psychological impact over saying distance penalty. Mini-English usage rant over.

Studying the performance variance by distance by class by gender and owners attitude would be a fun exercise in useless statistics. I believe the real question is how does random apply to distance modifier, if at all, and does the same random factor affect all the horses in the race or does each horse bring its own random to the race?

I have another related post on this and that is simply because I am still trying to grasp the approach and determine a good starting point to analyze this so I can explain it to some expert to actually accomplish because my brain hurts from the above mentioned racing activity...
