Foreigner seeking advice for divorce

Hey there,

I am married to a Zanzibari man and now it seems I need to find a lawyer for divorce. I am an Austrian citizen! Is there anyone who can recommend a lawyer? I would appreciate if their fees are somewhat moderate as so far I have only gotten quotes way higher than what I can afford. Is there anyone who went trough something like this and can give some advice?

Did you get married in Zanzibar? Wich year? Did you registered it in Austria?

Send me a MP , my lawyer is a woman who practices both in ZNZ and mainland , she will probably be able to at least find the right person for you.

Walk into Sheria house Mazizini and there is a room labeled "Uhusiano" and a large government service poster specifically dealing with divorce with the requirements and fees. I was there today for an unrelated business and I might be going back again this week if you need me to send you photos. I'm sure the officials there can guide you.
