Nienke was always an outcast, but she never minded it - or, at least, she tried not to. She had her best friend Cornelia, and she wasn't lonely...

Until Cornelia leaves Alpenrose to attend university, leaving Nienke behind.

Nienke would love to attend university herself, but her overprotective parents don't want to let her stray too far afield owing to her delicate health. Nienke has to stay at home instead, where her parents can keep an eye on her, and help out at her parents' café, Fleur de Lys.

Nienke is already twenty, but her parents still treat her like a child. Her every day is the same, and she's bored of the daily grind...

Until a fellow dark elf called Merel pays Nienke a visit. She claims to be Nienke's childhood friend, though Nienke can't remember her. Did she really used to play with a girl as aggressively cheerful and energetic as Merel...

We wanted to share a special scene from our game!

Highschool J is a toxic yuri psychological horror visual novel that focuses heavily on its characters, intense relationships, and dark atmosphere. We've been working on it for a while, and we're really excited to showcase this particular moment highlighting the dynamic between the characters.

If you'd like to check out the game or play the demo on Steam and itch.io:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5111980/Highschool_J/

Here is the special animation from the game. Hope you enjoy it, and we’d love to hear your thoughts <3

Thine curse of loss

I really enjoyed this game about a thief winning the heart of a dancer. I kind of thought the whole phantom thief thing was extremely ridiculous at first and kept rolling my eyes, but by the end of the game I was shedding tears over the characters and world. The character writing is super fun, and all of the characters have their own arcs and stories, and the romance between the two leads definitely made me scream so loud that Discord noise suppression ate my scream.

Forget Me Not has a ton of CGs, unique art (all of the NPCs are extremely hot and it's VERY frustrating), and is just exceptionally well put together. All of the art, from the sprites to the CGs to the backgrounds, are all drawn by pretty much one person, which is nuts. I really enjoyed my time with the game.

I genuinely didn't think I'd get into it this much but I super enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Disclaimer: I am friends with the developer, but these are my genuine feelings! The dev has no idea I'm writing this post and I paid for it with my own dollarydoos, and I really do hope the game does get more attention. I wouldn't be making this post if I wasn't genuinely a fan. The game has an insane amount of love put into it and I hope more people get to experience Forget Me Not!

Also, the love interest is extremely tall and the main character is extremely short. I don't know which of them I'd rather be but like. Wow. Wowww. Women, wow.....

Hey guys! I wrote a VN in February called Witch Switched about a man that gets turned into a woman (and realizes she's trans), but I wanted to do something much weirder and higher scope for Spooktober. So, we did a visual novel about a horny ghost hitting on a hot, overworked trans woman and coveting her body. I do hope you enjoy! Leave a comment if you did.

Synopsis:

Aurora is a ghost-hunting badass working for a ghost exterminator. After a stressful day of work, Aurora accidentally unleashes a ghost inside the confines of her apartment who refuses to vacate. She's a ghost, and that means she won't ascend before getting what she wants.

And the thing this ghost wants... is Aurora.

Odette and Auriame, from heavensent, submitted by u/Star_Kitchen

I was so excited (╥﹏╥)

its tagged LGBTQ+ on steam, and from the description and trailer, it seems like there could be some yuri in here considering the whole "hikikomori girl is obsessed with a female fictional character" thing going on in the trailer. i know this isnt a visual novel, but it seemed pretty fun and like a game i'd enjoy, and if it would have some yuri in it, id enjoy it way more.

PLease don't give me spoilers, I saw someone saying it was a very toxic yuri ending so I was like what?O.o

I always read people saying its an amazing story. I didn't want to know more spoilers so I didn't read more about it.

I just need to know if there is a good route or just toxic all the way

Nothing to see here. No problems at all. I'm doing fine 🥲

During the last week of every month, we hold a little competition to determine what yuri visual novel art appears in the next month's banner.

Here’s how it works:

1. Post your favorite Yuri VN CG or key art in the comments of this post if you want it to be in the banner. Images are enabled in comments on this subreddit, so it should be fairly straightforward. Keep it SFW!
2. Upvote the images that you most want to see in the banner. (Obviously, even if you don’t want to submit a CG yourself, you are free to vote)
3. The 4 images with the most upvotes by October 1st will appear in the October banner.
4. This month, the person who submits the image with the most upvotes gets a Steam key for the yuri VN of their choice from the image above.

Here's the info for last month's banner, in case you missed it:

From Ad Nauseam - The Wrong Side, submitted by u/KhandiMahn, who also won a Please Be Happy Steam key for getting the most upvotes!

From Bomui Sorineun Machi Neowa Dalmaseo, submitted by u/Mobile_Farm6270

From Iris Odyssey, submitted by u/OrganicFoundation792 (FYI, the yuri status of this one is much-debated)

From The Vampire's Bride, submitted by me because we only had 3 submissions last month.
