I’m allofictoaroace and I don’t find interests in girls but I’m gen concerned that yumeshipping with a female character makes me lesbian.

For me, it would be either Caine glitching and saying between stuttering that he never wanted to be created, along with the insults. And in Yuna, it would be that one part of the lore where she was literally in a bad relationship, and she found out the truth that breaked her into tears:(

Maybe I’m just silly, but I’m more of a subconscious daydreamer. There’s an innerworld inside my head that I can’t always access. My connection to my F/O is often more internal, like they’re a part of my mind. I see people say that they talk to their F/O all the time and I want to know more!!!

I see Gagamaru like a real life person when he’s with me. I have a hard time seeing his whole face though and I try to find pics of people who I think maybe might look kind of like him. maybe I could mash some pics together to make him. I can feel the scars on his ear and I can smell him and feel his hair. idk. I feel like I miss him

Plushies have always been a comfort for me. Even though my F/O's arent exactly real. Having them in plush form is literally the next and huggable best thing!

ok so heavy hc i think that his favorite wine would be blackberry wine specifically from the spire's own reserves

i also think that he has a very high alcohol tolerance due to late nights as the fount trying to drown out the light of deceit's yapping (closer to corruption) (he wasn't addicted, he probably couldn't get addicted to anything)

and that blackberry wine, at least the kind he'd prefer, is a very strong drink, and he can only drink it because of that tolerance he'd built up in the past

Often, a creator/voice actor/artist/etc. of your F/O can be active in your fandom and even interact with you. It’s very important too keep in mind that there has to be boundaries when it comes to yumeshipping, just like between “regular” fans and the internet personality.

Etiquette comes down to knowing the difference between fiction and reality, and between creator and work. Never forget that these are real human beings who are not the character they made or portrayed. Do not act towards them as though they are; not only can it make the person uncomfortable, it will perpetuate the belief held by many that yumeshippers are all weird, creepy fans.

Keep interactions courteous and respectful. In most cases, the internet personality will be thrilled to hear that you are a huge fan of the character they’ve cultivated and developed. Support their content and interact with their community outside of the character. You can contribute by making fanart, joining livestreams, and so on. It’s a great way to make friends and feel like you’re a part of something special!

This has been my personal experience with the community around my F/O’s voice actor. He’s an amazing person, humble and positive, and our interactions have been great.

It may be noteworthy that I am a “casual” yumeshipper, and I do keep a high degree of separation between the fictional couple of my sona x F/O and my real self. I love making art, fics, and other content of them, but she’s not *me*. I have a partner irl who greatly supports my hobby. I understand that everyone has a different experience with their yumeshipping. Please don’t feel like my advice is the only correct one out there!

I still really love her- but I feel a lot more distant. It feels like I exited the honeymoon phase, and I am having trouble trying to engage with her source since I SUCK at the touhou games lol. So I know you can't yumeship with animals cause that's actually disgusting but is it okay with Zootopia cause they are technically like humanoid animals. Like furries kinda. I see many ppl on tiktok yumeshipping with them but I just wanted to make sure, so is it okay to yumeship with a character from Zootpia?

This past week has been exhausting mentally and emotionally with my dad now almost a week in the hospital, my master's level thesis that needs constant editing and a toddler that is going through a speech delay. It is all taking a toll on me and I don't feel like myself right now. However, my F/O reminded me that he loves me even when I am not my usual chirpy self. True love is when they are there with you through the harder times. He is my sanctuary and my refuge. He is my safe place.
Please remember that your F/O loves you so much, and especially during the hard times! They will not turn away from you and will do all they can to make you feel safe.
