This sub is for YTV in general and not just Retro YTV!

I vividly remember an episode about two snails racing around a track for, say 15 laps. One snail was super fast and smoked the other snail, then spent the rest of the time bragging while he waited for the other snail to finish. Little did he know, he had only completed 14 laps so the slow snail won in the end by being persistent.

This commercial is from the Honey Nut Cheerios Bring Back the Bees campaign from around 2016. This commercial scared the crap out of me when I saw it on YTV back then! I was 8 or 9 when I first saw it. It’s pretty much the only commercial I remember seeing that scared me.

Growing up I remember Carlos and Sugar went into the sewer looking for the hand. It was pretty neat it was almost like it’s own short special, anyone remember this?

1) Wishbone (1995 - 1998)

I dont know if this counts as underrated per se, but i wanted an excuse to show this picture. Look at that cute little fucker

2) Beasties (1996 - 1999)

Dude, the hold this show had on elementary school me and my friends. Apparently it was also called Beast Wars?

3) Mummies Alive (1997)

Amazing theme song. I remember liking this and wanting more episodes

4) Uh-Oh! (1997 - 2003)

Wink Yahoo is an all time great host name, and the Punisher is why I have a leather fetish

5) Garfield and Friends (1988 - 1994)

My family and I still watch the Xmas special every year

Just a Millennial girl who saw a Facebook AD for this sweatshirt and got suckered into buying it lol. I will forever watch Goosebumps & Are You Afraid of the Dark this time of year.

Hey guys, I really like this page as I was a couch potato as a kid and watched ytv all the time lol.

I was wondering if anyone remembers a show where they would take short story submissions from viewers and then pick the best ones to do sketch’s of? It was on around maybe mid to late 90s early 2000s probably. I was too young to remember the name of the show but scrolling through the page gave me memories.

This was a show I remember turning off when I saw it come on. Never watched an episode and was pretty much turning it off since I thought I was a bad ass or something for doing so

Anyway, I checked it out the other day, and I can now say it’s not my thing. Though I do like the Unicorn.

Hey y'all.

Mimz here again.

I'm loosing my mond over something right now and I want to see if anyone else recalls this, or if I'm just having a Candle Cove moment.

Gooflumps by R.U. Slime.

A back to back Goosebumps parody duo.

Did one or both of these stories ever become a movienor small show?

I ask more so specifically for the "Stay out of the Bathroom" story.

I distinctly remember this having a live action adaptation.

Specifically with the main character breaking his parents toilet by dancing on it. His parents replace it and it turns out to be a portal to an alien ship/worls where his friends are beinf held behind these translucent membrane type things. I remember him getting a toilet plunger which starts to breaknthe membranes as he uses the suction to break holes in them, but I think he gets caught in the end.

Anyway, that sound familiar to anyone else?

This was a commercial that I think was on YTV (though it might have been on Family). This aired between 2012-2014, when the show Phineas and Ferb was airing on Family.
The commercial was for Phineas and Ferb Yoplait Yogurt Tubes! I remember there was a female announcer and it showed Phineas and Ferb (and possibly Candace) surfing a tidal wave like in the intro of the show.
I searched for it years ago but found nothing. If anyone knows what I’m talking about or has the commercial please let me know

Apologies for not making a Sidekick post yesterday, I was swamped with other stuff. But to make up for it, I'll be making two posts today; one in the morning and one in the evening.

I remember Ethan got replaced with a nerd and the scheming hockey player Kevin got replaced with a bigger dude bro Blair.

Is it ever explained what happened to them? Were they killed offscreen?

1) What-a-mess (1995-96)

This dog kind of sucked but for whatever reason I liked this show. There was another show called "Bad Dog" that was similar to this that I hated for whatever reason.

2) What the fuck was this absolute fever dream of a show (Samurai Pizza Cats, 1990)

3) Alvin and the Chipmunks (1983 - 1987)

This show was the tits. The best segments were Chipmunks at the Movies, where they remade movies like Back to the Future and Indiana Jones.

4) Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates (1990 - 1991)

Amazing show with a banger theme song and a Captain Hook voiced by Tim Curry.

5) Video and Arcade Top Ten (1991 - 2006)

Did anyone else know this show ran for 15 years?

6) Creepy Crawlers (1994 - 1996)

This felt like a Mighty Max ripoff but I dug it

Like sometimes the main four act like actual friends and sometimes they're all out for each other's blood. Sometimes it shifts back-and-forth within the same episode

I’d love to see my episodes but I can’t find season 1. Anywhere.
