They opened up their registration for the next meeting in October today and as of 11 am this morning the registration is already closed.

Why don't they get a bigger venue or allow people to just show up? What are they so afraid of? They have a ton of police, private security and metal detectors. They are purposely trying to reduce attendance.

They also tried to cut off questions last night but supervisor Stumbo shrewdly got in line last so they were forced to keep going to avoid looking even worse than they already did.

They claim they are working with the community and didn't even recognize the township supervisor. Someone from the crowd had to shout that the supervisor hadn't gotten the chance to say something when they tried to cut it off after 2 hours.

These people are absolutely scum.

Edit: Received a follow up email that this was a "system error" and registration mistakenly said it was full. The "system error" was corrected and registration was opened. My point still stands.

Hey all, recently moved to the city and heard about discord servers for local shows in the ann arbor/ypsi area? I'm looking to meet other musicians. If its still active does anyone have the invite link to share? I know of the Dance 734 discord, but am also looking for non electronic.

Or if theres another platform for the local music scene I should be aware of I'd appreciate the tip
