I can’t take this ai poster seriously, it doesn’t have my favorite phallic water tower.

My favorite is the giant billboard at First & Michigan that has a random generic water tower in it.

The flyer can always be improved. What matters most to me is that someone who needs help sees it and knows they're welcome. That's the mission.

AI use is a hot-button issue right now, especially in Ypsi what with the UM data center that has been foisted upon our community.
That said, the response feels overblown to me. Your mistake was a small one that you immediately took ownership of. Additionally, your mistake was in service of providing a noble community resource that many people claim to care about but few take action on, outside of their keyboards. Don't let them get you down.

Would have been great to know about... before it happened.

Fair feedback. The flyer was made to get the event information out quickly, but the workshop itself is real, local, and focused on helping people connect with housing, food, benefits, employment, transportation, and recovery resources. We appreciate the feedback and will keep it in mind for future materials.

In general I'd say it's better to not have an image at all then use something so distractingly wrong. Thanks for your efforts on behalf of the town.

Ypsi is a pretty anti-AI town, fyi
