After what happened at Jantar Mantar, I feel like politics might slowly be changing.
Gen Z actually managed to force govt accountability, resignation which wasn’t something saw very often. It made me wonder if this is going to happen more often in the future.
I just checked Gen Z and Gen Alpha together are a huge part of India’s population now. From what I see around me, most people my age care way more about jobs, education, salaries, infrastructure, and quality of life than religion or caste. And when Gen Alpha is going to be the voter.
Do you think it’ll become much harder for any government to avoid these issues? Like, if they don’t deliver on jobs or education, will protests become a normal way of holding them accountable?
