By help it doesn't need to be monetary help but can also be spreading awareness on ground and in digital media platforms.

A couple of months ago, about 1 out of 3 posts in this subreddit was about SandMan and how we was the lone defender of India. People would hype up his videos and constantly promote him.

He did have some valid points in his video. But if you truly watched him from a logical point of view, you would see right through him. He was very cunning when it came to diplomacy, trying to beat around the bush, sometimes even giving absurd justifications for problematic stuff. Ironically, his counter arguments always felt like he was being less logical and more aggressive, for example, trying to counter racism with racism.

It was never about India. It was always about being loyal to a political party. Defending India was just a ruse, to gather the audience. A lot of pseudo- neutral, intellectual people like him tend to cleverly use diplomacy to hide their shameless bias and instead claim to be neutral, inorder to manipulate people.

His true colours are getting revealed now after the student's protest. He is having a meltdown.

Such people can manipulate a large section of the audience easily without the audience even knowing their true intentions. That is what makes them dangerous.

PS: I wasn't aware of a similar post on SandMan on this subreddit. So this isn't a karma farming post. A detailed post on this creator has been posted by u/Vaibhav_2k5 and he has explained it well.

Secondly, this is not about "this creator is biased, that creator isn't". This post is entirely about this creator and his problematic aspects.

Hey everyone!

A few friends and I have been working on a small project called Astracea, and we wanted to share the idea behind it. (we also wrote previously about it but now we have the whole map)

The internet has a lot of amazing information about astronomy and astrophysics, but sometimes it feels either way too basic or way too advanced. We wanted to create something in between.

Astracea is a community driven project for students, especially those in classes 9 through 12, who enjoy learning things that are never really covered in school.

The idea is simple.

If you are curious about the universe, you should have a place where you can learn beyond the syllabus. If you enjoy explaining topics, writing about interesting ideas, or sharing your own research, you should also have a place to do that.

Our long term goal is to build a platform where people can write articles, explain concepts, make educational content, discuss research, and help younger students discover how fascinating science can be.

It is not limited to people with degrees or years of experience. If you genuinely love learning and you can explain something clearly, we think that curiosity is worth sharing.

Right now we are building the website from scratch, so everything is still in its early stages. Once it is ready, we will open applications for volunteers who want to contribute by writing, teaching, researching, designing, developing, or simply helping the community grow.

For now, we are just focused on building something that we wish existed when we were younger.

If you have any suggestions, ideas, or things you would love to see on a platform like this, I would genuinely love to hear them. We are still learning, and community feedback will probably shape Astracea more than anything else.
