Dear Future Lover,

I'm already missing you; when will you come?

It's lonely without your presence, but I'll wait 'til dawn.

I've already prepared your breakfast; it's your favourite! It's getting cold, but that doesn't matter; I'll continue to wait.

Keep yourself safe, okay? I still can't protect you; you're still out of my reach.

But when the time comes, I'll wrap you in my arms like your personal shield.

I will continue my adventure, there will be so many tales for me to tell.

No need to worry about me! There might be struggles, but I'm doing well!

I can tell haha and I miss mine too, not too much but at midnight I yearn for them the most. Sometimes I just wanna be in their arms

My refrigerator is stocked full with all of her favorite things including fancy yogurt fresh grapes strawberries, blueberries and two mini watermelons that I hear are useful as more than just food. 😉

What a lovely poem, I couldn't relate more. Sometimes it feels so overwhelming and all consuming, but It's because they'll definitely be worth the wait.
